Benefits and Examples of Integrating Zoom and Microsoft Teams

Benefit 1: Speeding Up Information Sharing

By integrating Zoom with Microsoft Teams, meeting information notifications are automated, allowing members to quickly access the necessary information. Previously, there was a need to manually copy and paste meeting links and agendas into Microsoft Teams, but with this integration, notifications are automated with a single setup. For example, the hassle of sending links to all participants before a morning meeting is eliminated, making it easier to prepare. Especially in workplaces where meetings are frequently held, reducing the hassle of notifications is expected to improve work efficiency. Additionally, reducing information sharing errors and delays will make the overall progress of projects smoother.

Benefit 2: Centralized Information Management

By integrating Zoom meeting information into Microsoft Teams, meeting data and links are managed in one place, making it easier to find the necessary information quickly. When using multiple apps and messaging tools in daily work, information dispersion becomes an issue, but centralized management in Microsoft Teams makes it easier to utilize the search function.
For example, when past meeting materials or minutes are needed, simply entering "Zoom meeting" or "date" in the Microsoft Teams search function will easily retrieve the necessary information.
With meeting-related information not being dispersed, team productivity is expected to improve.

Benefit 3: Building a Smooth Remote Work Environment

As remote work increases, ensuring smooth communication means is important. With Zoom meeting information being notified to Teams, remote workers can quickly receive consistent information, maintaining a work environment equivalent to the office. For example, even in overseas teams with time differences, they can grasp meeting links and agendas in a timely manner, allowing for speedy meeting participation and preparation. This enables smooth team collaboration regardless of distance, further enhancing the remote work environment.

After the meeting ends, it automatically transcribes and summarizes the content, then notifies Microsoft Teams. This is expected to save manual work time. It is recommended for those who frequently hold online meetings using Zoom.

2. Notify Microsoft Teams with the recording URL after a Zoom meeting ends

By utilizing this flow, you can prevent the omission of sharing the recording URL with the entire team. This allows members who could not attend the meeting to smoothly share information. You can freely arrange the notification destination and message.

3. Create a Zoom meeting at the specified date and time, and notify Microsoft Teams with the meeting information

By utilizing this flow, you can eliminate the manual effort of creating meetings and prevent missing or failing to communicate meeting details. It is especially recommended for those who frequently create Zoom meetings or have many regular meetings.
