You can also expect to strengthen team collaboration. Please take a look!

・Those who want to quickly grasp issues added to Jira Software
・Teams that frequently communicate about Jira Software issues on Discord

Benefits and Examples of Integrating Jira Software and Discord

Benefit 1: Speeding up Task Engagement

With this integration, the speed at which you engage with tasks may increase.
For example, have you ever wasted time because you didn't notice an issue added to Jira Software? By introducing this app integration, notifications will automatically be sent to Discord when an issue is added to Jira Software, making it easier to notice new issues.
Isn't it a beneficial automation to smoothly carry out projects managed in Jira Software?

Benefit 2: Enhancing Communication

Since notifications will be sent to Discord when issues are added, you can start working without checking Jira Software. This can save the hassle of moving between different tools and potentially shorten time.
Additionally, by creating threads for messages received on Discord, you can have detailed exchanges about the added issues.
For example, members listed in the issue details can confirm with each other in the thread, or when stuck on a task, a thread can be created and mentions sent out for consultation, which is expected to enhance communication.

Benefit 3: Simplifying Notification Tasks

By incorporating this integration, it may be possible to reduce the movement and notification tasks between such tools.
For instance, normally, after adding an issue to Jira Software, you need to type it into Discord to inform members. Furthermore, members need to move to Jira Software to understand the task details and check the issue.
With this app integration, notification tasks can be easily performed, making information sharing smoother and enabling efficient task management.

After working as a general store manager, I started working from home as an SEO writer. Later, an outsourcing agreement was signed with a marketing startup for about 5 years. Surrounded by students at the University of Tokyo, I held a computer and spent my days studying various business terms and how to use SaaS tools. When I was a general store manager, time was taken over and over again by office work such as sales and inventory management, human resource management, and ordering, etc., and I was unable to serve customers and often missed sales times. Even when outsourcing, there are many detailed tasks such as input, etc., and “can't such monotonous tasks be automated?” I thought so, and I really sympathize with Yoom's vision!
