Benefits and Examples of Integrating Notion and freee Accounting
1. Reduction of Work Time and Efficient Data Transfer
By adding client data from Notion to freee accounting, manual data entry becomes unnecessary. Utilizing this process, necessary information can be reflected with one click, significantly reducing cumbersome tasks.
This allows you to allocate time spent on accounting tasks and data organization to other important tasks.
For example, when managing new client information, reflecting data recorded in Notion to freee accounting with one click allows you to quickly proceed with subsequent tasks such as contract creation and invoice issuance. This efficiency can be expected to improve overall productivity, especially when there are many clients or frequent data updates.
2. Improved Data Accuracy by Reducing Input Errors
By integrating Notion and freee accounting, you can prevent input errors that tend to occur when manually transcribing data. With an automated flow, accurate information is reflected in the system, enhancing the reliability of operations.
For instance, when handling a large amount of client information, there is a high risk of errors in entering detailed data such as names, addresses, and contact information. This integration allows you to reflect data recorded once in Notion directly into freee accounting, reducing the effort of verification work and maintaining accuracy.
3. Improved Productivity through Efficient Data Management
Utilizing the integration of Notion and freee accounting is expected to lead to more efficient operations by centralizing data management.
By aggregating information in one place and easily reflecting it in external systems as needed, you can optimize the overall business process.
For example, when launching a new project, managing client information using Notion while also utilizing the same data for financial management in freee accounting will allow you to smoothly check both the project's progress and financial status.
In this way, you can build a foundation for efficiently advancing multiple tasks.

* Before connecting with My Apps, make sure to create the data page used in the flow.
Enter your Notion login information and click "Select Page".

The pages checked here will be linked with Yoom. If you create a page to be used in the flow after connecting with My Apps, you will need to reconnect and check it.

Step 2: Set Trigger with Extension
The initial setup involves configuring triggers using a Google Chrome extension. By using a trigger with the Chrome extension, you can directly activate the trigger from Notion.
Please note that flow settings using the Google Chrome extension areonly available with certain paid plans. If your plan is not eligible, the operations and data connections of the flow bot you set will result in errors, so please be careful.
Paid plans offer a 2-week free trial during which you can use the restricted apps.
Click "Install Extension" at the top right of the flow.
Click "Add to Chrome" at the top right to add the extension to your Chrome.
Since you need to click this extension to run the flow, it is recommended to pin it to the toolbar. Click "..." at the top right → "Extensions" → "Manage Extensions" and click "Details" for the Yoom extension.
If you turn on "Pin to Toolbar", the Yoom icon will appear next to the URL bar, allowing you to click it immediately. Once the extension is ready, proceed to the flow settings.
Click "Launch from a Specific Page". Below the extension settings, the account information of the Notion linked with My Apps is displayed.
If necessary, modify the title to something understandable, check the account information, and proceed to the next step. On the next page, you will set up to retrieve client information from Notion.
At this point, entering the URL of the client information list will result in an error. Please paste one individual URL and test it.
Also, if the URL ends with "?~", please remove everything after the "?". Note that in a regular flow, there is no need to obtain the URL, as the information is automatically retrieved from the extension.
If the test is successful, you can obtain the output.
Once you have confirmed that you can retrieve information from Notion, click "Save" to complete the trigger setup.
Step 3: Set Record Retrieval
The next setup is for "Retrieve Records". On the first page, as before, verify the Notion account information displayed and enter the information for the database you want to link.
Enter the ID of the page from which you retrieved customer information (not an individual URL) and click "Test". If the test is successful, proceed to the next step to set up information retrieval for reflecting it in Freee Accounting.
Select from the output so that the Record ID = Page ID setting is achieved, and click "Test". If the test is successful, you can obtain the output based on the conditions.
Once confirmed up to this point, click "Save" to complete the information retrieval setup.
Step 4: Set Client Registration
The final setup is "Create Client". Let's set up to register the retrieved information in Freee Accounting.
On the first page, as before, modify the title and verify the account information, then proceed to the next step. Next, set up the information to be reflected in Freee Accounting.
Proceed with inputting each item using the output. Once you have completed entering the necessary items, click "Test" to confirm that the client information has been registered in Freee Accounting.
If the test is successful, you can obtain the output in Yoom as well.
Finally, click "Save" to complete all settings. Turn on the trigger and start the flow.
Now the flow is running, and you can register client information in Freee Accounting with one click from the Notion screen.
When you click the Yoom logo on the Notion page, the flow title should be displayed.

I want to bring the convenience of Yoom, which can be linked to apps without programming knowledge, to many people!
Conventional RPA can only automate simple repetitive tasks, and the setup process was very complicated. With “hyperautomation,” which combines various technologies such as AI, API, RPA, and OCR, it is possible to automate many tasks that could not be realized until now more easily than before.
Most tools simply connect one app to another, leaving the complex tasks to you. Yoom goes much further: From document creation and browser automation to OCR and generative AI, Yoom handles it all seamlessly in one platform.
Why settle for basic integrations? Streamline your entire workflow with Yoom’s powerful hyperautomation.
