Do you find it tedious to manually transfer Square payment information to Airtable in your daily operations? Time spent on data entry and human errors can be significant obstacles in management and marketing.
The solution to this problem is the app integration of Square and Airtable using Yoom.
By implementing this system, information processed through Square is automatically registered in Airtable, simplifying data management.
For example, in retail stores, daily sales and customer information can be easily organized, allowing for the accurate accumulation of data useful for the next strategy.
Additionally, since it can be set up without programming knowledge, even those not familiar with IT can feel at ease. This article clearly explains the specific steps of the flow to register Square's payment completion information in Airtable. Why not take the first step towards improving operational efficiency together?
By automatically registering Square's payment completion information in Airtable, you can reduce the time and human errors associated with manual entry.
For example, retail stores often have to manually transfer dozens of payment information entries daily, but this integration can reduce that burden. This will create an environment where staff can focus on more important tasks. Accurate data management with fewer errors can lead to smoother subsequent operations.
Automatically registering information processed through Square in Airtable makes it easier to organize and track customer data.
For instance, when recording the purchase history of products bought by customers in a retail store, manual entry can often lead to omissions and errors. With this flow, information entered at the time of payment (such as product names and purchase amounts) is directly accumulated in Airtable, making it easier to understand customer purchasing trends. By tracking which products specific customers purchase and how frequently, you can use this as a foundation for future sales strategies and personalized responses.
Managing Square's sales information in a form that can be analyzed in Airtable makes it easier to measure campaign effectiveness and understand sales trends.
For example, you can check how well a specific seasonal product sold and use that information for the next promotional plan. This integration allows you to use sales data not just for storage but as material to generate specific actions for business improvement.
From here, we will set up the integration flow between Square and Airtable using Yoom.
This flow involves registering in Airtable when a payment is completed in Square.
The initial setting is "When a payment is created".
The first page contains the Square account information that has already been linked with My App.
You can change the title to something more understandable.
It might be helpful to include the store or site name.
After confirming the account information, proceed to the next step without changing the trigger action.
Next, set the trigger interval.
Set it according to your business needs to check payment information on Square at specified intervals.
Note that the trigger interval may not be selectable depending on the plan, so please be careful.
Once the interval is set, complete a test payment on Square and click "Test".
If the test is successful, you can obtain the test payment information in the output.
If the values are correctly obtained, click "Save" to complete the app trigger setup.
Next, click "Command Operation" to set up branching.
This setting is to check in this flow whether the payment on Square is "COMPLETED".
If the settings in the red frame of the above image are made, you can set up branching.
Branch the output where the "Status" obtained in the "When a payment is created" flow is "COMPLETED".
If the above setting is made, click "Save" to complete the branching setup.
The final setting is "Create Record".
On the first page, confirm the account information as with Square, and modify the title if necessary before proceeding.
On the next page, perform detailed settings to reflect information in Airtable.
After obtaining the Base ID and Table ID from the URL, enter the field information.
"Field Name" refers to each item name in Airtable. (Red frame part in the image below)
Once everything is entered, click "Test".
Errors may occur during testing depending on the input format selected in Airtable, so make corrections as needed.
If the test is successful, the output is obtained and the test payment information is reflected in Airtable.
Once confirmed up to this point, click "Save" to complete all settings.
Turn on the trigger and run the flow!
The flow set up this time is as follows.
