For those looking to automate notifications after completing payments with Stripe, there is a recommended automation.
This time, we introduce an automation that notifies Microsoft Teams when a payment is completed in Stripe.
This eliminates the need for manual payment data notifications by the person in charge, prevents delays and notification errors, and facilitates communication.
This automation is especially recommended during periods when payments are concentrated, such as at the end of the month.

Benefits of Integrating Stripe with Microsoft Teams

Benefit 1: Easier Verification Process

When a payment occurs in Stripe, it is automatically notified to Microsoft Teams, eliminating the need for manual verification by the person in charge.
This reduces the burden on the person in charge, as they no longer need to check whether a payment has occurred in Stripe.
For example, when payments are concentrated, such as at the end of the month, automation of notifications will make it easier to handle customer interactions.
If your company regularly uses Microsoft Teams, you can centrally manage payment notifications along with other notifications, reducing the need to switch between tools.
Thus, making the verification process easier can lead to improved operational efficiency.

Benefit 2: Strengthened Team Collaboration

Automatic notification of payment data may strengthen team collaboration.
For example, by setting Microsoft Teams notifications for multiple departments, each can always check the latest data.
This ensures that customer interactions and sales activities conducted by each department are carried out appropriately.
Therefore, it helps prevent common manual errors and delays, making internal communication smoother.
The introduction of this automation may lead to strengthened team connections and smoother project progress.

How to Create a Stripe and Microsoft Teams Integration Flow

This time, we will introduce how to set up the following template: "Notify Microsoft Teams when a payment is made in Stripe."

You can set it up in the following 4 steps.

  1. Register Stripe and Microsoft Teams as My Apps
  2. Open the template
  3. Set triggers and actions

Step 1: Register Stripe and Microsoft Teams as My Apps

Please register Stripe and Microsoft Teams as My Apps to connect them to Yoom.
By completing the My Apps registration in advance, automation settings can be made easily.

Now, let's register Stripe as My App.
*Stripe is an app that can only be used with some paid plans.
In other plans, the operations and data connections of the flowbots set will result in errors, so please be careful.
Paid plans come with a 2-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps that are subject to restrictions.

Please check the help page here and register as My App.

Next, let's register Chatwork as My App.
Click "My Apps" → "New Connection" on the left side of the Yoom screen.
Look for Chatwork from the app list or search with "Search by app name".

The following screen will be displayed, so please log in to Chatwork.

Once both My Apps registrations are complete, Stripe and Chatwork will be displayed.

Other Automation Examples Using Stripe

1. A flow that automatically notifies Google Chat when a payment is made with Stripe.
You can also notify Google Chat of payment information, which will speed up information sharing.
Manual notifications are no longer necessary, preventing human error.

2. This is a flow that automatically sends a thank you email via Outlook when a payment is made through Stripe.
It saves the effort of manually sending a thank you email every time a payment is made.
Manually sending thank you emails can lead to delays and errors, but automation can help prevent these issues.

3. This is a flow where subscription information is automatically stored in Google Sheets when it is changed in Stripe.
When there is a change in data, there is no need to manually update the data and store it in Google Sheets.

I've been working as a writer since my job in child welfare, and I'm currently writing a blog on Yoom. While being surprised by the work efficiency improvements that can be made with Yoom, I would like to share that excitement with everyone and contribute to society. I'll tell you about application integration and automation that even I, who has zero programming knowledge, can do.
