How to Create an Integration Flow between YouCanBookMe and Microsoft Teams

We will proceed with four main flows.

・Integrate YouCanBookMe and Microsoft Teams with My Apps
・Copy the template
・Set the trigger for YouCanBookMe as the starting point and follow with the notification settings for Microsoft Teams
・Turn on the trigger and confirm the automated integration

Step 1: Connect YouCanBookMe and Microsoft Teams to My Apps

First, register YouCanBookMe and Microsoft Teams to My Apps, which will be used this time. Registering My Apps in advance will make the process smoother.

・Microsoft365 (formerly Office365) has a home plan and a general business plan (Microsoft365 Business). If you are not subscribed to the general business plan, authentication may fail.

Open Yoom, click "My Apps" on the right side of the screen, and then click "New Connection" on the left side of the screen.

A search window will appear, enter YouCanBookMe, and click on the displayed suggestion.

A new registration screen for YouCanBookMe will appear, follow the instructions and enter the required information.
Note: The API key is only displayed when registering for a paid plan with YouCanBookMe, as stated on the screen display below.

Regarding the access token, please set the API key obtained on YouCanBookMe. For how to obtain the API key, please check this article.

After completing the entry, click "Add" to return to the My Apps screen, and YouCanBookMe will be displayed.

Next, proceed with the My Apps registration for Microsoft Teams.
Similarly, click "New Connection" on the right side of the screen.

Enter Microsoft Teams in the search window and click on the displayed suggestion.

A Microsoft365 account selection screen will appear, click on the account you want to link this time.


Once signed in, you will return to the My Apps screen, and Microsoft Teams will be displayed.

This completes the necessary app connections to My Apps.

Step 2: Copy the Template

Next, copy the template from Yoom.

Click the icon for "Try this template" on the banner template below.

When the screen shown in the image below appears, the template copy is complete.

Step 3: Setting the Trigger for YouCanBookMe and Configuring Notifications for Microsoft Teams

Click inside the red frame in the image below.

A screen like the one in the image below will appear. Confirm that you are using the correct YouCanBookMe account for this integration, and click "Next" at the bottom of the screen.

Once the operation is complete, click the "Test" button,

and if "Test Successful" is confirmed, scroll down and click "Save".
This completes the YouCanBookMe setup.

Next, proceed with the settings to receive notifications in Microsoft Teams.
Click inside the red frame in the image below.

A screen like the one in the image below will appear. Confirm that you are using the correct Microsoft Teams account for this integration, and click the "Next" button.

The "API Connection Settings" screen like the one in the image below will appear.
You can set up the messages to be received in Microsoft Teams. Follow the instructions on the screen to proceed with the input.

When you click on the message, the "Output" screen like the one in the image below will appear.
You can easily input the content you want to receive notifications for, so make use of it.
In this example, the content in the image below was entered.

Once the input is complete, click "Test",
and if "Test Complete" is confirmed, click the "Save" button.

Step 4: Turn on the Trigger and Confirm the Automation Integration

By clicking the "Turn on Trigger" in the red frame of the screen below, the flow bot will start automatically.
