Read files uploaded to Box with OCR and post them to Reddit

■Workflow overview

1. First, connect Box and Reddit to Yoom.
2. Next, select Box as the trigger and set the action to “When a file is uploaded to a folder.”
3. Then, set the Box “Download a file” action as an operation to retrieve the file uploaded by the trigger.
4. Use OCR to extract text from the downloaded file.
5. Finally, set the Reddit “Create a new post in a subreddit” action as an operation and create a post containing the extracted text in the body.

※ “Trigger”: An action that starts the workflow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the workflow after the trigger starts.

■Customization options

• In the Box trigger settings, specify the content ID of the folder whose uploads should trigger the workflow.
• For the OCR operation, customize the file attachment method, the fields to extract, the language, and other settings as needed.
• For the Reddit posting operation, freely configure the destination subreddit, post title, body content, and other details.

■Notes

• Connect both Reddit and Box to Yoom.
• AI operations for OCR and audio transcription are available only on the Team and Success plans. On the Free and Mini plans, the configured operations in your workflow will result in an error.
• Paid plans, including the Team and Success plans, offer a 2-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use restricted apps and AI features (operations).
• OCR may not be able to read data containing 6,500 or more characters or text that is too small. Please keep this in mind.
