Extract and translate text from PDFs uploaded to Box, then notify Slack

With this workflow, simply uploading a PDF file to a specific Box folder automatically extracts the text, translates it into the specified language, and notifies Slack. ■Flowbot Steps

1. First, connect Box and Slack to Yoom.
2. Next, select Box as the trigger and set the action to “When a file is uploaded to a folder.”
3. Then, set the Box “Download a file” action in an operation to download the file detected by the trigger.
4. Next, use the OCR “Read any image or PDF” action to extract text from the downloaded file.
5. Then, set the AI “Translate” action to translate the extracted text into the specified language.
6. Finally, use Slack’s “Send a message to a channel” action to notify the specified channel of the translated content.

※“Trigger”: An action that starts a flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within a flow after the trigger starts.

■Workflow Customization Options

• With the AI “Translate” action, you can choose the target language.
• With the action for sending a message to Slack, you can specify the ID of the channel where notifications will be sent.
• You can also freely edit the Slack notification message, embed the AI-translated text as a variable, and add fixed text.

■Notes

• Connect both Slack and Box to Yoom.
• AI operations for OCR or audio transcription are available only on the Team and Success Plans. Please note that operations in configured Flowbots will result in an error on the Free and Mini Plans.
