Update records in another sheet and add them to Airtable when a row is added to Google Sheets

Update records in another sheet and add them to Airtable when a row is added to Google Sheets

Launch this workflow to connect Google Sheets !
■Overview
Are you manually managing data across multiple Google Sheets or transferring information to Airtable? These repetitive data entry tasks are time-consuming and prone to input errors and missed updates. With this workflow, simply adding a new row to a Google Sheet automatically updates information in another sheet and creates a new record in Airtable, helping you streamline data integration.
■Who Should Use This Template
  • Anyone managing data across multiple sheets in Google Sheets
  • Anyone using Google Sheets and Airtable together who wants to reduce the effort of manual data transfers
  • Anyone looking to reduce data entry errors and improve operational accuracy
■Benefits of Using This Template
  • Automate updates between sheets and data transfers to Airtable to reduce the time spent on manual tasks.
  • Eliminate manual copy-and-paste work to reduce the risk of human errors, such as incorrect entries and missed updates.
■Flowbot Steps
  1. First, connect Google Sheets and Airtable to Yoom.
  2. Next, select Google Sheets as the trigger and set the “When a row is added” action.
  3. Then, select Google Sheets as the operation and set the “Update a record” action.
  4. Finally, select Airtable as the operation, set the “Create a record” action, and register the required information in Airtable.
* “Trigger”: The action that starts the flow. “Operation”: The action that processes data within the flow after the trigger starts.
■Customization Options
  • For the Google Sheets trigger settings, specify the spreadsheet and sheet that should start the Flowbot.
  • For the Google Sheets record update action, you can specify the target spreadsheet, sheet, and conditions for the columns to update. You can also flexibly configure the information assigned to each field using values retrieved in previous steps or fixed values.
  • For the Airtable record creation action, you can specify the target table and flexibly customize which information to register in each field.
■Notes
  • Connect both Google Sheets and Airtable to Yoom.
  • You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
  • Note that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
  • For important notes on using Google Sheets as an app trigger, see “Important Notes on Google Sheets Triggers [App Trigger]”.
