Convert half-width characters in text submitted from Zoho Forms to full-width characters and add it to Notion

Launch this workflow to connect Zoho Forms & Notion !
■Overview
Do the form submissions collected in Zoho Forms contain a mix of half-width and full-width characters when you transfer them to Notion, making manual corrections time-consuming?
With this workflow, you can trigger the process when a form is submitted to Zoho Forms, automatically convert specified half-width characters to full-width characters, and add the results to a Notion database. Standardize data entry and automate data transfers to streamline your operations.

■Who should use this template
  • Anyone who wants to eliminate manual data transfers between Zoho Forms and Notion
  • Anyone who wants to standardize variations between half-width and full-width characters in form inputs and automate data cleansing
  • Anyone who wants to automate repetitive daily tasks and focus on more important work

■Benefits of using this template
  • From character conversion to adding data to Notion, everything is processed automatically when a form is submitted to Zoho Forms, reducing the time spent on manual work.
  • Prevent human errors such as input mistakes and missed conversions that can occur during manual data transfers and character conversion, improving data accuracy.

■Workflow steps
  1. First, connect Zoho Forms and Notion with Yoom.
  2. Next, select Zoho Forms as the trigger and set the action to “When a form is submitted.”
  3. Then, select the Data Manipulation & Conversion feature as the operation and use the “Manipulate and convert data” action to convert half-width characters to full-width characters.
  4. Finally, select Notion as the operation and use the “Add a record” action to add the converted data to the specified database.
※ “Trigger”: An action that starts the workflow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the workflow after the trigger starts.

■Customization options
  • In the Data Manipulation & Conversion feature, specify which Zoho Forms fields to convert and define the conversion rules from half-width to full-width characters.
  • In the action for adding a record to Notion, specify which database to use and which Zoho Forms fields should correspond to which Notion properties.
