When a video is uploaded to Box, convert it to MP3 with RPA and save it

With this workflow, simply upload a video file to Box, and RPA will automatically convert it to MP3 and save it in the specified folder—freeing you from this repetitive task.

■Flow Bot Process

1. First, connect Box to Yoom.
2. Select Box as the trigger, set the “When a file is uploaded to a folder” action, and specify the folder to monitor.
3. Next, use the branching feature to set a condition so that subsequent steps run only when the uploaded file is a video file.
4. Then, use Box’s “Download a file” action to retrieve the video file detected by the trigger.
5. Use the RPA feature’s “Operate the browser” action to access any website and convert the downloaded video file to MP3.
6. Use the data transformation feature’s “Replace data using regular expressions” action to format the output file name as needed.
7. Finally, use Box’s “Upload a file” action to save the converted MP3 file in the specified folder.

※“Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that runs a process within the flow after the trigger starts.

■Customization Options

• In the Box trigger settings, select the folder to monitor for uploaded video files.
• With the branching feature, you can freely customize the conditions for running the process based on information such as the file name and extension.
• With the RPA feature, you can configure the URL of the website used to convert video to MP3 (change video to mp3), as well as the on-screen steps, to match your environment.
• In the Box file upload settings, you can dynamically specify the destination folder and file name using not only fixed values but also information retrieved in preceding operations.

• The browser operation feature is available only on the Success Plan. On the Free, Mini, and Team Plans, the configured flow bot operation will result in an error.
• Paid plans, such as the Success Plan, include a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use restricted apps and browser operation features.

• You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
• Note that the shortest trigger interval varies by plan.
• The maximum downloadable file size is 300 MB. Depending on the app specifications, the limit may be less than 300 MB.

• The branching feature is available as an operation on the Mini Plan and above. On the Free Plan, the configured flow bot operation will result in an error.
