■Overview
Do you find it time-consuming to manually convert JPEG images to DOC files one by one using an online conversion site? The more files you have, the more cumbersome the process becomes.
With this workflow, simply upload a JPEG file to a designated Box folder, and RPA will automatically convert it to a DOC file and save it to the specified folder. Automate manual tasks like “JPEG to DOC” conversions and streamline your operations.
■Who Should Use This Template
- Anyone looking to streamline the process of converting JPEG files managed in Box to DOC files
- Anyone spending too much time creating document files from image-based materials
- Anyone looking to automate repetitive tasks such as file conversion and focus on more important work
■Benefits of Using This Template
- Automatically convert JPEG files to DOC files when they are uploaded to Box, reducing the time spent on manual file conversions.
- Eliminate manual file format conversions to help prevent human errors such as selecting the wrong file or making conversion mistakes.
■How the Flowbot Works
- First, connect Box to Yoom.
- Next, select Box as the trigger, set the “When a file is uploaded to a folder” action, and specify the target folder.
- Next, set up Box’s “Download a file” action as an operation to download the JPEG file detected by the trigger.
- Next, set up the RPA “Operate the browser” action as an operation and record the steps for converting the downloaded file to DOC format.
- Finally, set up Box’s “Upload a file” action as an operation to save the converted DOC file to the specified folder.
*“Trigger”: An action that initiates a flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within a flow after the trigger starts.
■Customization Options
- With the RPA “Operate the browser” action, you can choose the website used for file conversion and customize the specific actions performed on that site.
- When uploading the converted file to Box, you can specify the destination folder and file name using fixed values or set them dynamically based on information obtained in previous steps.
■Notes
- Connect Box to Yoom.
- You can select a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
- Note that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
- The “Operate the browser” operation is available only on the Success Plan. On the Free, Mini, and Team Plans, any flowbot operation configured with this action will result in an error.
- Paid plans such as the Success Plan include a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use restricted apps and the “Operate the browser” operation.
- See below for instructions on how to configure the “Operate the browser” operation.
