■Overview
Do you find it time-consuming to manually transfer information from business cards and other documents uploaded to Box into Copper, your CRM tool? This manual process not only takes time but can also lead to human errors such as data entry mistakes. By integrating Copper with Box, this workflow automates the process of using OCR to automatically read text information when a file is uploaded to a specific folder and registering it as a new Person (contact) in Copper.

- Next, configure Box’s “Download a file” action to retrieve the uploaded file
- Then, configure the OCR “Extract text with OCR” action to extract text information from the downloaded file
- Finally, configure Copper’s “Create Person” action to create a new Person (contact) based on the extracted information
