When a file is uploaded to a Box folder, extract text with OCR and create a blog post on Tumblr

With this workflow, simply upload a file to a specific Box folder. OCR automatically reads the content and posts it to Tumblr, helping streamline information-sharing tasks across apps.

■Workflow

1. First, connect Box and Tumblr to Yoom
2. Next, select Box as the trigger and set the “When a file is uploaded to a folder” action
3. Then, set the “Download a file” action for Box as an operation
4. Next, set the OCR “Read any image or PDF” action as an operation to extract text from the downloaded file
5. Finally, set Tumblr’s “Create Blog Post” action as an operation and publish a post containing the content read by OCR and other details

※“Trigger”: An action that starts the workflow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the workflow after the trigger starts it.

■Customization Options

• For the Box trigger, enter the ID of the folder you want to monitor
• For the OCR operation, specify which information to extract from the file
• For the Tumblr posting settings, specify the destination blog (Blog Identifier), and freely configure the post content (Content Blocks) using values obtained through OCR or any text you choose

■Notes

• ‍‍Connect both Box and Tumblr to Yoom.
• The AI operations for OCR and audio transcription are available only on the Team and Success plans. Please note that on the Free and Mini plans, configured workflow operations will result in errors.
• Paid plans, such as the Team and Success plans, include a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and AI features (operations) that are otherwise subject to restrictions.
• Please note that OCR may not be able to read data containing more than 6,500 characters or text that is too small.
• The maximum file size available for download is 300 MB. Depending on the app specifications, the limit may be less than 300 MB.
