With this workflow, SerpApi automatically performs Google searches based on your Notion data according to a specified schedule, then appends the results to Notion records. Eliminate the hassle of manual research and manage your data more efficiently.

  • Prevent human errors such as inconsistent search keywords and transcription mistakes, ensuring a consistent-quality research process every time.

■Flowbot steps
  1. First, connect Notion and SerpApi with Yoom.
  2. Next, select the Schedule Trigger as the trigger and set the date and time when you want to start the flowbot.
  3. Next, configure Notion's "Retrieve multiple records" action in the operation to retrieve the information used as the basis for the search.
  4. Next, configure a repeating process to run the subsequent steps for each retrieved Notion record.
  5. Within the repeating process, configure SerpApi's "Retrieve Google search results" action to perform a search based on the Notion data.
  6. Next, use the AI feature's "Generate text" action to create the content to append to Notion, such as a summary of the search results.
  7. Finally, configure Notion's "Update record" action to append the generated text to the relevant record.

  • With the Schedule Trigger, you can freely set how often the workflow runs, as well as the days and times.
  • When retrieving records from Notion, you can customize the filter settings to target only records that meet specific conditions.
  • When running a search with SerpApi, you can freely choose which information retrieved from Notion to use as search keywords.
  • For AI-generated text, you can freely edit the prompt and provide detailed instructions on how to summarize and format the search results.
  • When updating Notion records, you can flexibly specify which information to append to which fields using data obtained from previous steps.

■Notes
  • Connect both Notion and SerpApi with Yoom.
  • Actions between "Repeat the same process" operations are available on the Personal plan and higher. On the Free plan, the configured flowbot operations and data connections will result in errors.
  • Paid plans, including the Personal plan, offer a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are otherwise subject to restrictions.
  • Combining multiple keywords in your searches can help you retrieve relatively accurate information.
