Create and publish product information from Google Sheets in Squarespace

Create and publish product information from Google Sheets in Squarespace

Launch this workflow to connect Squarespace & Google Sheets !
■Overview
Manually adding product information managed in Google Sheets to Squarespace one item at a time is time-consuming and prone to input errors. With this workflow, simply add new product information to Google Sheets, and the product will be automatically created and registered in Squarespace. Reduce the time and effort required to register products and run your e-commerce site more efficiently.

■Who This Template Is For
  • E-commerce teams managing product information in Google Sheets and Squarespace
  • Anyone struggling with input errors and the time required for manual product registration
  • Anyone looking to automate the product registration process and improve e-commerce operations

■Benefits of This Template
  • Product information is automatically registered in Squarespace when new information is added to Google Sheets, reducing the time previously spent on manual work.
  • Eliminating manual data entry helps prevent human errors such as incorrect product names or prices and missed registrations.

■How the Flowbot Works
  1. First, connect Google Sheets and Squarespace to Yoom.
  2. Next, select Google Sheets as the trigger, set the action to “When a row is added,” and specify the target sheet.
  3. Then, select Squarespace as the operation and set the “Create a product” action using the information from the spreadsheet.
  4. Finally, select Google Sheets as the operation and set the “Update a record” action to update the status or other information indicating that registration in Squarespace has been completed.
※“Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the flow after the trigger starts.

■Customization Options
  • When creating a product in Squarespace, specify which columns in Google Sheets should be mapped to which product fields, such as the product name, price, and description.
  • For the operation that updates a record in Google Sheets, specify which column should be updated and what status to enter, such as “Registered.”

■Notes‍
  • Connect both Google Sheets and Squarespace to Yoom.
  • For important notes on using Google Sheets as an app trigger, see “[App Trigger] Important Notes on Google Sheets Triggers.”
  • You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
  • Be aware that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
