How to create an integration flow between Kintone and Google Chat

Next, we will introduce how to actually integrate Kintone with Google Chat.
The template we will use this time is a flowbot that sends the content of a comment to a specified space in Google Chat when you are mentioned in a comment on Kintone.

Before Getting Started

First, if you do not have a Yoom account, please issue an account from the Yoom account issuance page. You can start immediately!

Step 1: Register and Link kintone and Google Chat to My Apps!

(1) After logging into Yoom, select "My Apps" from the left column and choose "+ New Connection".

(2) From the list of new connections in My Apps, click on kintone.

(3) The new registration screen for kintone will appear, so enter the subdomain, client ID, and client secret in the three fields and click Add.

(4) The following content will appear, so check it and click Allow if there are no issues.

(5) Next, link Google Chat. Click on Google Chat from the list of new connections in Yoom, just like in (1).
(6) Click "Sign in with Google".
(7) The following content will appear, so enter the Client ID and Client Secret and click "Register".

Step 2: Set the Trigger!

This time, we will use the provided template.
(1) Click on "When a comment is posted" in the app trigger.

(2) Check if there are any errors in the account information linked with kintone, and click "Next".
(3) The Webhook event reception settings for the app trigger will appear, so follow the steps to input the necessary information. Once completed, click "Test", and if there are no errors, click "Save".

Step 3: Set the Action

(1) Next, click on "Branch if my name is not included in the comment".
(2) The following content will appear, so set the branching conditions and click "Save".

(3) Next, click on "Send a message to space".
(4) Check if there are any errors in the account information linked with Google Chat, and click "Next".
(5) Enter the required fields in the API connection settings and click "Test". If there are no errors, click "Save" at the bottom.

(6) Finally, turn on the email trigger. And you're done!
