How to integrate CloudSign with Google Chat to update the Notion database and notify Google Chat once the contract is completed in CloudSign

Many people may be using CloudSign, which allows you to manage contracts from signing to document management. CloudSign significantly reduces the time compared to paper-based contract work. However, sharing information after contract signing is equally important, isn't it? By integrating CloudSign with Google Chat, you can eliminate the need for manual notification tasks and prevent human errors. Additionally, real-time notifications via Google Chat become possible, allowing the entire team to share information and smoothly proceed to the next action. So, what are the specific benefits of integrating these two apps?
Benefits of Integrating CloudSign and Google Chat
Benefit 1: Notifies you when the contract signing is complete
Once the contract signing is completed in CloudSign, it updates the status in Notion and notifies Google Chat, eliminating the need for manual notifications. If contracts are frequently signed, automation can save time and reduce human errors.
Benefit 2: Real-time contract status visibility
The person in charge can check the progress of contracts in real-time on Google Chat without checking emails or other apps. If you want to refer to past contract statuses, you can simply go back through the chat history, making it easier to create analyses and reports based on past data.
Benefit 3: Smooth information sharing within the team
Information is quickly shared with the entire team, allowing everyone to grasp the latest contract status, enabling speedy and accurate decision-making. In today's world, where remote work and multi-location operations are increasing, this is very convenient.
What is Yoom?
It allows integration with various domestic and international apps without coding. No specialized knowledge such as programming is required. You can create flow bots simply by entering and selecting the necessary information for the settings. A two-week free trial is available, so if you are considering implementation, please take this opportunity to try it out. If you do not have a Yoom account, you can issue one from the Yoom account issuance page. You can start in 30 seconds! For basic operations of Yoom, please refer to Getting Started with Yoom. Also, Yoom has many templates, so please try using them!
How to Create a CloudSign and Google Chat Integration Flow
We have introduced the benefits so far. Now, let's quickly integrate the three apps we will use this time with Yoom! This time, we will not only notify Google Chat but also accumulate data in Notion. "Once the contract is completed in CloudSign, update the Notion database and notify Google Chat" We will explain how to create a flow bot for this.
Step 1: Integrate My Apps
First, integrate the CloudSign and Yoom you are using. Select My Apps → New Connection → CloudSign from the left side of the Yoom page. Search for the app from the list or by app name. The following screen will appear, so please set the account name and client ID by referring to here.
Next, integrate Notion.
Once logged in,
Select a page
Check the page you want to access
Grant access
Complete these steps. The integration with Notion is now complete. Select Google Chat (OAuth) and configure it by referring to here. *Integration with Google Chat is only possible with Google Workspace. For more details, click here.
Once the three apps are displayed in My Apps, you're all set.
Step 2: Set the Trigger
This time, we will use the available template. Click "Try this template" on the template page. If you are using Yoom, log in; if you are new, register as a member. Proceed, and the template will be copied to your workspace and ready to use. You can rename the template if necessary. Click "My Projects" on the left, and you will find the template you just copied. Click the ellipsis (...) on the right side of the template and select "Edit".
Now, let's set the app trigger. Select "When the document signing is completed".
On the "Select Linked Account and Action" screen, check the linked account. The trigger action remains "When the document signing is completed". If there are no errors, proceed to the next step. Trigger activation interval → You can choose from intervals of 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes. *The selection of activation intervals varies depending on the plan.
Test → Save if the test is successful. Next, set "Get the name of the contracting party".
Check the linked account here as well. The trigger action remains unchanged. If there are no errors, proceed to the next step. Select the document ID from the output as {{Document ID}}. Test and save if there are no issues.
Next, set "Update the record".
Set the database ID you want to use from the options. Once completed, proceed to the next step. This time, we want to update the record (progress status) when the name of the contracting party matches in both CloudSign and Notion database, so set the conditions as follows. For the updated record value, we only want to update the progress status, so we entered "Completed" in Progress Status. Do not enter anything in the name field (Do not enter anything). (Entering it will change the contractor's name on the Notion side.) Test → Save if the test is successful.
Finally, set "Notify Google Chat". On the "Select Linked Account and Action" screen, check the linked account and proceed to the next step. The action remains unchanged. The following screen will appear, so set the required fields.
Space ID
Key
Token
There are notes below the fields, so refer to them for input. Set the message content to what you want to notify. This time, we set it as follows. Test → Save if the test is successful.
Finally, turn on the app trigger to complete. Thank you for your hard work!
Advanced Integration Flow of CloudSign and Google Chat
This time, we introduced the flow of "Updating the Notion database and notifying Google Chat once the contract is finalized in CloudSign." You can receive notifications of contract completions on your usual Google Chat, allowing you to grasp simple details even when you're out. At Yoom, we also offer other templates using CloudSign and Google Chat. We encourage you to try them out from the options below. "Once a contract is finalized in CloudSign, read the content with AI operations, update the status in kintone, and notify Slack." The AI features, including summaries, are available with the Team Plan or Success Plan. If you are considering implementation, please apply for a trial with one of these two plans. You can try it for free for two weeks.
Summary
By integrating CloudSign with Google Chat, you can automate notifications of completed contracts and reflect contract statuses in real-time, making it easier to share information among teams. With Yoom, you can easily connect without any code, allowing anyone to get started effortlessly. If you become accustomed to Yoom and want to further improve efficiency, you can use the templates introduced in the advanced section to create automation flows that better suit your business needs. You can also customize the templates.
Yoom supports your business efficiency.

I have experienced finance-related work for about 3 years since I graduated as a new graduate.
Due to the industry, there are so many tasks that are done manually, and I came across Yoom when I thought that if automated, I could do more other work.
I'm impressed every day by the convenience of Yoom while writing a blog.
I try to make the structure easy to understand.
Conventional RPA can only automate simple repetitive tasks, and the setup process was very complicated. With “hyperautomation,” which combines various technologies such as AI, API, RPA, and OCR, it is possible to automate many tasks that could not be realized until now more easily than before.
Most tools simply connect one app to another, leaving the complex tasks to you. Yoom goes much further: From document creation and browser automation to OCR and generative AI, Yoom handles it all seamlessly in one platform.
Why settle for basic integrations? Streamline your entire workflow with Yoom’s powerful hyperautomation.
