Let's walk through how to set up a Flowbot that <span class="mark-yellow">automatically summarizes a newly created page in Notion using Claude, and saves the summary back in Notion</span>.

🔧 What You’ll Need
If you don’t have a Yoom account yet, register now from this registration form!

After logging into Yoom, go to "My Apps" from the left side menu and click "+ Add".
⚠️ Note: Databases created after registering with Yoom cannot be linked, so make sure to prepare the database you plan to use before registering in My Apps. If you’ve already linked it with Yoom but need to use a new database, you’ll need to register in My Apps again.
Search for Notion in the app list and select it.
Log in with your Notion account. When the following screen appears, click "Select a Page".
Select the page(s) to grant access to the database and click "Allowing Access".
Return to the Yoom screen, and if the following notification appears, the integration is complete!
Similarly, search for "Anthropic (Claude)" from the app list and select it.
Enter an account name.
Use a name that's easy to recognize, such as your company name or the person responsible for the account.
To get your access token, follow the instructions in this guide.
Once all the required fields are filled, click "Add" to complete registration.
Once both apps are connected, you’ll see them listed under “My Apps”.Now, you’re ready for automation :)
Click the "Try It" button to copy the pre-built template into your project.
Click "Try this template".
Click "OK" and give the Flowbot a name to recognize.
The template will be copied to your "My Project".
Select "When a page in a specific database is created or updated".
In the next screen, verify that your correct account is connected, then hit "Next".
Make sure to prepare a Notion database in advance for the upcoming test action. For this test, we’ve created a database like the one shown below.
Once your Notion database is ready, return to Yoom.

Once you've completed the settings, run a test after creating a new page in Notion.
If the test is successful, the retrieved value will get updated as below.
If the retrieved value matches the information in Notion, then click "Save".
Select "Command Operation".
This time, we will set up a branch trigger for when a new page is created in Notion.
So click on the input field, and select “last updated date” from the options. You can also customize the branch conditions according to your needs.
Once all settings are done, click “Save”.
Select "Retrieve Record (ID Search)".
Select the Notion database from which you want to retrieve records.
Click the input field and select the Database ID set in Step 3.
Then, click “Next”.
Set the conditions to retrieve a single record that matches the specified criteria from the Notion database. For this example, we selected the Object ID, as shown below.
Only records that match the “Record Condition” in Notion with the retrieved “Object ID” will be fetched.
Once the setup is complete, run a test.
If the test is successful, the retrieved values will get updated. Finally, click "Save" and proceed to the next step.
Select "Generate Text".
The screen will transition, but since the settings such as the title will be the same as those set in Step 1, so you can just click "Next".

Once the settings are complete, run a test.
If the test is successful, the retrieved data will be displayed.
Although the test operation image below does not show the retrieved data, the content instructed in Claude will be reflected in the actual retrieved results.
Hit "Save".
Select "Update Record (ID Search)" .
Specify the Notion database for updating records.
When you click the input field, as shown in the image below, a list of available options will appear. Select the Database ID set in Step 3. Once the setting is complete, click “Next”.
Now let's set up the detailed settings.
Once the setup is complete, click "Test". If the test is successful, the summary generated by Claude will get added into Notion.
Once confirmed, don't forget to click "Save"!
Toggle the "Trigger On" button to activate your flow!
Check if the Flowbot you set up is working properly.
That’s it! Your Flowbot is complete!
You can also go the other way around, send Claude data to Notion.
