How to Connect Notion and Google Chat with Yoom

Register your My App to connect Notion and Google Chat with Yoom.
By registering My App in advance, you can easily set up automation later.

First, let's start with registering My App for Notion.
Click "My Apps" → "New Connection" on the left side of the Yoom screen. A list of apps will be displayed, so find Notion from there or search from "Search by App Name".

When the following screen is displayed, click the blue button "Select Page".

The following screen will be displayed, so check the page you want to allow access to and click the blue button "Allow".

Next, we will register My App for Google Chat, but please refer to the Yoom help page for instructions on how to register.

To set up automation, please click "Try it" on the banner below.

Read the following screen display and click "OK".

When the following screen is displayed, check the "Title" and "Description".
If you want to make changes, you can do so by clicking on the relevant section.
First, let's proceed with the settings from Yoom's Schedule Trigger, and click "When the specified schedule is reached".

The following screen will be displayed, so set the time for automatic daily activation.
With Cron settings, you can finely adjust the execution frequency.
Refer to here to set the time.
In the following settings, it is set to activate at 6 AM every day.

Go to Notion and set up the task.
As an example, I have entered the task as follows.

Proceed with the Notion settings and click "Retrieve multiple records (up to 100)".
When the following screen is displayed, check the settings.

• "Title" → Can be freely changed
• "Account information linked with Notion" → Check for discrepancies
• "Execution action" → Retrieve multiple records (up to 100)

Scroll down and read the following description to configure the settings.

The following screen will be displayed, so set the "conditions for the records you want to retrieve".
As an example, I have entered the following.
Click "Test" → "Test Success" → "Save".

The task content in Notion will be displayed as output as follows.

Next, proceed with the Google Chat settings and click "Send message to space".
When the following screen is displayed, check the settings.

• "Title" → Can be freely changed
• "Account information linked with Google Chat" → Check for discrepancies
• "Action" → Send message to space

The following screen will be displayed, so read the description and configure the settings.

Enter the "Message Content".
* Click the red frame and use the Notion output.

Click "Test" → "Test Success" → "Save".

Finally, once you turn "Trigger ON", the automation setup is complete.
