“Wait, have the minutes of this meeting been shared already...?”
Even if your team uses Notion for information sharing, you might find yourself bogged down with verification tasks due to delayed notifications or missed status updates. Have you ever experienced this? By integrating Notion with Microsoft Teams, you can significantly reduce these "little hassles." For example, you can send notifications to Microsoft Teams when the status in Notion changes or automatically summarize and share the contents of meeting minutes.
This article will provide a detailed introduction to what you can do by integrating Notion with Microsoft Teams and the specific setup methods. If you're looking to automate your tasks, be sure to read to the end.
For those who want to try it out quickly
By using Yoom, you can easily integrate Notion and Microsoft Teams without any coding.
Yoom offers pre-prepared templates for integrating Notion and Microsoft Teams, so you can achieve integration immediately just by registering, even without any API knowledge.
What You Can Do by Integrating Notion and Microsoft Teams
By integrating the APIs of Notion and Microsoft Teams, you can automatically sync Notion data with Microsoft Teams!
Simply click "Try it out" on the automation example you're interested in and register an account to immediately experience the integration of Notion and Microsoft Teams.
Notify Microsoft Teams with One Click from Notion
You can notify Microsoft Teams of Notion page information with just one click. This prevents manual input errors.
Summarize the contents of the minutes registered in the Notion database and notify Microsoft Teams
When summarizing the contents of the minutes, there can be variations and speed differences depending on the person. By using this flow, you can maintain a consistent quality while summarizing, and it automatically handles notifications, making it convenient.
Notify Microsoft Teams after changing the status in Notion
If you are manually checking and notifying about page updates, this flow is useful. It seems to prevent any sharing omissions.
Let's Create a Notion and Microsoft Teams Integration Flow
Let's get started by creating a flow that integrates Notion with Microsoft Teams!
We'll be using Yoom to proceed with the integration of Notion and Microsoft Teams without any coding. If you don't have a Yoom account yet, please create one using this registration form.
[What is Yoom]
This time, we'll create a flow bot that transfers data from Notion to Microsoft Teams with just one click!
The creation process is broadly divided into the following steps:
Integrate Notion and Microsoft Teams with My Apps
Copy the template
Set up triggers in Notion and actions in Microsoft Teams
Turn on the trigger to complete the flow setup
Step 1: Connect My App
Connecting My App first will make the subsequent settings proceed smoothly. First, let's connect your current Notion with Yoom. Select My App → "+ Add" from the left side of the Yoom page.
Search for Notion. Before connecting, please create a database like the one below. (Detailed settings such as headers can be changed later.)
Once logged in, please allow access to the page you want to access.
Next, connect with Microsoft Teams. As before, select My App → New Connection from the left side of the Yoom page. When the sign-in screen appears, please enter your email address and password.
※Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) has both a home plan and a general business plan (Microsoft 365 Business), and if you are not subscribed to the general business plan, authentication may fail.
Once the connection with Notion and Microsoft Teams is complete and displayed in My App, it's OK.
Step 2: Copy the Template
From here, we will create the flow. Open the template page and click 'Try it'.
As you proceed, the template will automatically be copied to your workspace, and the following screen will be displayed.
Select OK and proceed to the next step. The template will be saved in My Projects. You can change the template name if necessary. Click on My Projects on the left to display the template you just copied. Click on the ellipsis (...) on the right and select Edit.
Step 3: Set Notion Trigger
Now, let's set up the app trigger. Select "Select and launch a page on the database".
You can change the title as you like. Check the account information you just linked and install the Chrome extension trigger. For more details, please refer to here.
Proceed to the next step and set the URL.
For this test, we will use the following database. Hover over the row where you want to activate the flow bot, and enter the URL with the page open as shown below in the sample field.
Return to the flow bot and click Test. If the integration is successful, the message content will be displayed in the output at the bottom of the screen. By quoting this output when setting the next action, you will achieve data integration between Notion and Microsoft Teams!
Please check the displayed content and link the database as shown in the image.
Proceed to the next step and set the conditions for the record you want to retrieve as follows.
Test this as well, and if the output is obtained, save it.
Step 5: Set to Send Message to Microsoft Teams Channel
Next, to notify Microsoft Teams of the information retrieved from Notion, click "Send Message to Channel".
As before, check the linked account information and proceed to the next step. Set the required fields.
Team ID & Channel ID: Please select from the options as shown in the image.
Message Content: Please set it using the output obtained earlier. ※ If you set a fixed page title here, it will be notified every time the flow is activated, so be sure to select from the output. By using the output, you can use the values obtained by the trigger as they are.
Other items can be set as desired. Once the settings are complete, test and save.
Step 6: Turn ON the Trigger to Complete Preparation
When the following image is displayed, turn on the trigger. With this, all settings are complete, so let's check if it is notified to Microsoft Teams with one click from Notion.
This was the method for "Notifying Microsoft Teams with one click from Notion".
If you want to link Microsoft Teams data to Notion
This time, we introduced how to link data from Notion to Microsoft Teams, but if you want to implement data linkage from Microsoft Teams to Notion, please also use the following template.
Create a page in Notion when a message is posted in Microsoft Teams
You can extract the necessary information from the message post content and create a page. It is necessary to inform the message posting format, but page creation should be smooth.
Add content posted in a specific room on Microsoft Teams to a Notion database
If you are reporting task progress on Microsoft Teams, it is convenient to automatically add that content to a database.
Other Automation Examples Using Notion and Microsoft Teams APIs
By leveraging the APIs of Notion and Microsoft Teams, various automations can be achieved.
Automation Examples Using Notion
It is possible to add Gmail received content to Notion or notify Slack when a page is created or updated in Notion.
Automation Examples Using Microsoft Teams
You can automatically notify Microsoft Teams when a record is created in Salesforce, or automatically create a folder in OneDrive based on the message content in Microsoft Teams.
In Conclusion

I have experienced finance-related work for about 3 years since I graduated as a new graduate.
Due to the industry, there are so many tasks that are done manually, and I came across Yoom when I thought that if automated, I could do more other work.
I'm impressed every day by the convenience of Yoom while writing a blog.
I try to make the structure easy to understand.
Conventional RPA can only automate simple repetitive tasks, and the setup process was very complicated. With “hyperautomation,” which combines various technologies such as AI, API, RPA, and OCR, it is possible to automate many tasks that could not be realized until now more easily than before.
Most tools simply connect one app to another, leaving the complex tasks to you. Yoom goes much further: From document creation and browser automation to OCR and generative AI, Yoom handles it all seamlessly in one platform.
Why settle for basic integrations? Streamline your entire workflow with Yoom’s powerful hyperautomation.
