Step 3: Set Up Slack Trigger
Click on the Slack trigger action.
The next screen is pre-configured. You can change the title if you want.
Set your trigger interval (how often you want Yoom to check Slack for new updates). It can be set to 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes. We recommend setting the trigger to the shortest activation interval available for your plan.
⚠️ Note: The trigger interval varies depending on your Yoom plan. Be sure to check your current plan’s limit.
Next, select the Channel ID.
The messages from this selected channel will then be automatically translated and shared in Discord. You can pick any channel you want.
Click on the Channel ID box and choose from the displayed options.
Next, send a test message to the selected Slack channel. Then return to Yoom and click the “Test” button at the bottom of the screen.
If you see “TestSuccessful”, that means everything is working correctly. Simply click “Save” to finalize the setup.
Step 4: Translate
Select "Translate" under the icon with alphabet.
Now, let’s set up the action. Choose the number of characters you want to be translated. The selected number of characters will be automatically translated.
Once selected, click “Next”.
Click inside the box labeled "Text to be Translated". A dropdown will appear.
Select “MessageContent" from the retrieved value of the previous action.
For the target language of the translation, you can enter any language you want (e.g., Japanese, Spanish, etc.).
Once you've configured this, press the "Test" button. If "TestSuccessful" appears, the setup is correct!
After confirming, press "Save" and proceed to the next step.
📚 Reference: For more details on retrieved values and how to set them up, see theguide here.
Step 5: Send a Message to Discord Settings
Click on the Discord action.
Same as previous steps, the necessary fields have already been filled in for the next page. All you need to do is confirm that the account information linked with Discord is correct, then click "Next".
Next, enter the Channel ID. This can be found in the URL of the Discord channel. Copy the ID from the URL and paste it into the input field.
Now let’s decide on the content to send to Discord.
Click inside the message box. The translationresult from the previous step will be available for selection. Select the translationresult (highlighted in red).
Click the "Test" button at the bottom of the screen. If you see "TestSuccessful" displayed, everything is set up correctly! You should also be able to see the message sent to Discord.
Once the test is successful, click "Save" to finalize the setup.
Step 6: Activate the Flowbot
Toggle the "Trigger On" button to activate your flow! Check if the Flowbot you set up is working properly.

After working as a manager at a general store, I began working from home as an SEO writer. Later, I entered into a freelance contract with a marketing startup for about five years. Surrounded by University of Tokyo students, I spent my days learning various business terminologies and how to use SaaS tools. During my time as a store manager, I was often overwhelmed by administrative tasks such as sales and inventory management, personnel management, and ordering, which frequently prevented me from engaging with customers and caused me to miss sales opportunities. Even during my freelance work, I found myself bogged down with repetitive tasks like data entry and often thought, "Can't these monotonous tasks be automated?" Therefore, I strongly resonate with Yoom's vision!
