Extract text from contracts sent to Box using OCR, summarize them with AI, and notify Telegram

Reviewing contracts and other important documents uploaded to Box can be time-consuming, as each file must be opened and checked individually. With this workflow, whenever a file is uploaded to Box, AI automatically reads and summarizes the contract, then sends the summary to Telegram. This lets you quickly grasp the key points of each document and reduce the workload involved in reviewing them.

■How the Flowbot works

1. First, connect Box and Telegram to Yoom.
2. Next, select Box as the trigger, set the “When a file is uploaded to a folder” action, and specify the folder to monitor.
3. In the operation, set Box’s “Download a file” action to retrieve the file detected by the trigger.
4. Then, set the AI “Extract text from images and PDFs” action to extract text from the downloaded file.
5. Next, set the AI “Summarize” action to summarize the extracted text based on the specified conditions.
6. Finally, set Telegram’s “Send a message” action in the operation to notify the specified chat of the summary.

※“Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the flow after the trigger starts.

■Customization options

• For the AI “Extract text from images and PDFs” operation, you can configure detailed conditions, such as specifying the pages to scan.
• For the AI “Summarize” operation, you can provide specific instructions in the prompt, such as the desired summary length and elements to include, to customize the output.

• ‍‍Connect both Telegram and Box to Yoom.
• AI operations for OCR or transcribing audio are available only on the Team and Success plans. On the Free and Mini plans, the configured Flowbot operation will result in an error.
