Use OCR to read and translate English reports uploaded to Box, then notify Slack

With this workflow, uploading a file to Box triggers Yoom's AI to automatically perform OCR and translation, then notify Slack of the results—streamlining routine tasks and enabling smooth information sharing.

■Workflow

1. First, connect Box and Slack to Yoom.
2. Next, select Box as the trigger and set the action to “When a file is uploaded to a folder.”
3. Next, configure Box’s “Download a file” action to download the file detected by the trigger.
4. Next, configure the AI feature’s “Extract text from images and PDFs” action to extract text from the downloaded file.
5. Next, configure the AI feature’s “Translate” action to translate the extracted text.
6. Finally, configure Slack’s “Send a message to a channel” action under Operations to notify the designated channel of the translation results.

※ “Trigger”: An action that starts the workflow. “Operation”: An action that processes information within the workflow after the trigger starts.

■Customization Options

• For the AI feature’s “Extract text from images and PDFs” action, you can set conditions such as the language to be processed.
• For the AI feature’s “Translate” action, you can specify conditions such as the source language, target language, and level of formality to match your business needs.
• For Slack notifications, you can choose any destination channel and customize the message by adding fixed text or embedding variables such as the translation results.

• AI Operations for OCR and audio transcription are available only on the Team and Success Plans. Please note that Operations configured in a workflow bot will result in an error on the Free and Mini Plans.
