Create a new post in a Reddit subreddit when a webhook is received on GitHub

■Workflow Steps

1. First, connect GitHub and Reddit to Yoom
2. Next, select GitHub as the trigger, configure the “Receive a webhook” action, generate the webhook URL, and set it up in GitHub
3. Then, configure branching in the operation settings so that subsequent steps run only when specific conditions are met
4. Finally, select Reddit in the operation settings and configure the “Create a new post in a subreddit” action

※ “Trigger”: An action that starts the workflow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the workflow after the trigger runs.

■Customizing This Workflow

• In the action for creating a new Reddit post, you can customize the target subreddit, title, and body
• In addition to fixed text, you can insert data from the GitHub webhook that triggered the workflow—such as the repository name and commit message—as variables in the post title and body, allowing dynamic content to be posted automatically
