Create a task in Clockify when a specific task is added to an Asana project

■Overview

Do you use Asana as your project management tool and Clockify for time tracking, but still enter task information manually in both tools?

With this workflow, you can connect Asana and Clockify so that a new task is automatically created in Clockify whenever a task is added to Asana. This eliminates the effort of manual data entry and enables accurate time tracking.

■Workflow Steps

1. First, connect Asana and Clockify to Yoom
2. Next, select Asana as the trigger and set the action to “When a new task is added to a specific project”
3. Then, add a branching function as an operation and configure it to proceed to the subsequent steps only when specific conditions are met.
4. Finally, select Clockify as the operation and set the “Create Task” action to create a task based on the information retrieved from Asana

※“Trigger”: An action that starts the workflow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the workflow after the trigger starts

■Customization Options

• In the Asana trigger settings, specify the workspace ID and project ID where you want to detect newly added tasks
• In the Clockify operation settings, you can reference information retrieved from Asana, such as the task name, and freely map it to Clockify’s fields

■ Notes

• Connect both Asana and Clockify to Yoom.
• You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
• Please note that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
• Branching is an operation available on the Mini Plan and above. On the Free Plan, the configured workflow operation will result in an error.
