■Overview
Do you manage tasks in ClickUp and sell products on Shopify, but find it time-consuming to manually transfer task information to product pages? Manual data entry can lead to input errors and missed registrations, potentially resulting in lost business opportunities. With this workflow, you can automate adding products to Shopify whenever a task is created in ClickUp, helping you smoothly resolve these challenges and streamline the integration between ClickUp and Shopify.
■Who This Template Is Recommended For
- E-commerce professionals who use both ClickUp and Shopify and currently register products manually
- Those who want to streamline data registration in Shopify based on ClickUp task information
- Team leaders who want to eliminate manual transcription errors and improve the accuracy of product information registration
■Benefits of Using This Template
- When a task is created in ClickUp, product information is automatically added to Shopify, reducing the time previously spent on manual work.
- By processing information automatically, the system helps prevent human errors such as manual transcription mistakes and missed registrations.
■Flowbot Process
- First, connect ClickUp and Shopify to Yoom.
- Next, select ClickUp as the trigger and set the action to “When a task is created.”
- Next, set the ClickUp “Get a task” action as an operation to retrieve detailed information about the created task.
- Next, set the AI feature “Extract data from text” as an operation to extract the necessary data, such as the product name and price, from the retrieved task information.
- Finally, set the Shopify “Add a product” action as an operation to automatically add the product based on the extracted data.
※ “Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes information within the flow after the trigger starts.
■Customizable Points in This Workflow
- In the ClickUp trigger settings, set the team_id, space_id, folder_id, and list_id that you want to include in the automation.
- In the ClickUp “Get a task” operation, set the task_id to the information retrieved by the preceding trigger as a variable.
- For AI-powered text extraction, you can freely customize the text to extract data from, such as the task title or description, as well as the fields to extract, such as the product name, price, or description.
- In the Shopify “Add a product” operation, you can set variables for each field, such as the product title and price, using the data extracted in the preceding step or fixed values.
■Notes
- Connect both ClickUp and Shopify to Yoom.
- Shopify is available only on the Team and Success plans. Please note that operations and Data Connects in configured Flowbots will result in errors on the Free and Mini plans.
- Paid plans, such as the Team and Success plans, include a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps that are otherwise subject to plan restrictions.
