■Overview
Do you find it time-consuming to manually transfer information from files such as business cards uploaded to Box into MOCO, your attendance and time management tool? This process is not only time-consuming but also prone to data entry errors. With this workflow, you can integrate Box with MOCO, use file uploads to Box as a trigger to extract information with OCR, and automatically create a Contact in MOCO. Reduce the time and errors associated with manual entry and streamline your operations.
■Who Should Use This Template
- Anyone who manually enters information such as business cards managed in Box into MOCO and wants to streamline the process
- Anyone who wants to integrate MOCO and Box via API and automate the customer information registration process
- Anyone who wants to use OCR to streamline data entry from paper documents into SaaS applications
■Benefits of This Template
- Automatically register Contacts in MOCO when a file is uploaded to Box, reducing the time spent on manual work
- Eliminate manual data transfer and reduce the risk of human errors such as incorrect entries and missed registrations
■Flow Bot Steps
- First, connect MOCO and Box with Yoom
- Next, select Box as the trigger and set the action to “When a file is uploaded to a folder”
- Then, set Box’s “Download file” action as an operation to retrieve the uploaded file in Yoom
- Next, set the OCR feature’s “Read any image or PDF” operation to extract text information from the file
- Finally, set MOCO’s “Create Contact” operation to create a new Contact based on the information extracted with OCR
■Customization Options
- For the Box trigger, set the content ID of the folder you want to monitor
- For the OCR settings, specify the text fields you want to extract from images or PDFs, such as business cards, including company name, full name, and phone number
- For the action that creates a Contact in MOCO, use values retrieved by the preceding OCR operation and freely specify which fields to populate
※“Trigger”: An action that starts the flow; “Operation”: An action that performs processing within the flow after the trigger starts
■Notes
- Connect both Box and MOCO with Yoom.
- The maximum downloadable file size is 300 MB. Please note that the limit may be lower than 300 MB depending on the app specifications.
- For details on the file size limits supported by the trigger and each operation, see the information below.
- The OCR_AI operation is available only on the Team and Success plans. On the Free and Mini plans, configured flow bot operations will result in an error.
- Paid plans such as the Team and Success plans include a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and AI features (operations) that are otherwise subject to plan restrictions.
