Update Asana information when a Notion task is updated

Update Asana information when a Notion task is updated

Launch this workflow to connect Notion !
■Overview
When managing tasks with both Notion and Asana, do you find it time-consuming to manually reflect updates from one tool in the other, or struggle with inconsistencies between the two? With this workflow, whenever a Notion data source is updated, the related Asana task information is updated automatically. This helps you eliminate these issues smoothly and keep your information up to date.
■Recommended for
  • Those who manage tasks in Notion and Asana and find entering the same information twice time-consuming
  • Project managers who want to automate information syncing across multiple tools and boost team productivity
  • Those who want to prevent missed updates and manual errors while keeping information consistently shared
■Benefits of using this template
  • Asana task information is synced automatically whenever you update a Notion data source, reducing the time previously spent copying information manually.
  • By eliminating manual data entry, you can reduce the risk of human errors such as incorrect entries and missed updates, while maintaining data accuracy.
■Flowbot steps
  1. First, connect Notion and Asana to Yoom.
  2. Next, select Notion as the trigger and set the action to “When a page in a specific data source is created or updated.”
  3. Next, set up branching in the operation to route subsequent processes based on specific conditions.
  4. Then, set the Notion “Retrieve a record (ID search)” action in the operation to retrieve information from the page that triggered the workflow.
  5. Finally, set the Asana “Update a task” action in the operation and specify the task details to update based on the information retrieved by the trigger.
※ “Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that performs processing within the flow after the trigger starts.
■Customization options
  • In the Notion trigger settings, specify the ID of the data source you want to monitor to determine which data source updates will trigger the workflow.
■Notes‍
  • Connect Notion and Asana to Yoom.
  • You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes. Please note that the shortest available interval varies by plan.
  • Branching is an operation available on the Personal plan and higher. On the Free plan, the configured Flowbot operation will result in an error.
  • Paid plans, such as the Personal plan, include a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are otherwise subject to plan restrictions.
