Extract and translate text from PDFs uploaded to Box, then add it to Airtable

This workflow automates the entire process—from uploading a PDF to Box, extracting text with OCR, and translating it with AI to adding the results to Airtable.

■Workflow

1. First, connect Box and Airtable to Yoom.
2. Select Box as the trigger, set the “When a file is uploaded to a folder” action, and specify the target folder.
3. Set Box’s “Download a file” action as an operation to process the uploaded file.
4. Select the OCR feature and use the “Extract text from an image or PDF” action to extract text from the file.
5. Set the AI feature’s “Translate” action to translate the extracted text into the specified language.
6. Finally, set Airtable’s “Create a record” action as an operation and add information such as the translated text to any table.

※“Trigger”: An action that starts the workflow. “Operation”: An action that performs processing within the workflow after the trigger starts.

■Customization Options

• When configuring the OCR feature, you can specify which fields in the PDF to read.
• When configuring AI translation, you can select the target language, such as Japanese or English.
• When configuring Airtable’s record creation, you can specify the destination base and table, and freely choose what information to record in each field.

■Notes

• Connect both Box and Airtable to Yoom.
• The AI operations for OCR and audio transcription are available only on the Team and Success plans.
  On the Free and Mini plans, the configured workflow operations will result in errors.
  Please note that paid plans, including the Team and Success plans, come with a two-week free trial.

• Downloaded files can be up to 300 MB.
  Depending on the app specifications, the limit may be less than 300 MB.
