■Overview
Manually transferring information collected through Google Forms, such as inquiries and surveys, takes time and can easily lead to input errors. With this workflow, whenever a response is submitted to Google Forms, the corresponding information in Google Sheets is automatically updated, and a new record is added to Airtable. This reduces the time spent on data entry and minimizes human error, enabling smooth information management.
■Who Should Use This Template
- Anyone who manually transfers Google Forms responses to other tools
- Anyone who manages customer or project information using both Google Sheets and Airtable
- Anyone looking to eliminate duplicate data entry and improve operational accuracy
■Benefits of Using This Template
- Automatically reflect form responses in each app, reducing the time previously spent on manual data entry.
- Eliminate manual copy-and-paste work to help prevent human errors such as transfer mistakes and missing entries.
■Flow
- First, connect Google Forms, Google Sheets, and Airtable to Yoom.
- Next, select Google Forms as the trigger and set the “When a response is submitted to a form” action.
- Then, set the “Update a record” action for Google Sheets and update existing data based on the form responses.
- Finally, set the “Create a record” action for Airtable and create a new record based on the form responses.
※“Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the flow after the trigger starts.
■Customization Options
- In the Google Forms trigger settings, configure the ID of the form that should trigger the flow and the interval at which the flow runs.
- For the Google Sheets “Update a record” action, configure the target spreadsheet ID, tab name, and conditions for determining which row to update.
- For the Airtable “Create a record” action, configure which base and table to add the information to, as well as which information to map to each field.
■Notes
- Connect Google Forms, Google Sheets, and Airtable to Yoom.
- You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
- Please note that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
- For information on how to retrieve response data when using Google Forms as a trigger, see “How to Retrieve Response Data with the Google Forms Trigger”.
