When a PDF is uploaded to Box, convert it to a Word file with CloudConvert and save it to another folder

With this workflow, simply upload a PDF file to a designated folder in Box. CloudConvert will automatically convert the PDF to a Word file and save it in another folder in Box, eliminating the hassle of repeated file conversions.

■Flowbot Steps

1. First, connect Box and CloudConvert to Yoom.
2. Next, select Box as the trigger and set the action to “When a file is uploaded to a folder.”
3. In the operation, set Box’s “Download File” action to download the uploaded PDF file.
4. Next, upload the file to CloudConvert and run a conversion task from PDF to Word using the “Convert File” action.
5. Once the conversion is complete, download the converted Word file from CloudConvert.
6. Finally, set Box’s “Upload File” action to save the downloaded Word file in the designated folder.

* “Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the flow after the trigger starts.

■Customizable Points

• In the Box trigger settings, you can specify which folder to monitor for uploaded files.
• In the CloudConvert operation, you can freely set the converted file name and output format, such as docx.
• When uploading the file to Box at the end of the flow, you can set the destination folder ID and file name as needed for flexible file management.

• Connect both Box and CloudConvert to Yoom.
