Manually downloading files shared on Discord one by one, converting them to another format, and saving them to Google Drive is time-consuming and prone to errors. With this workflow, sending a file to Discord triggers the entire process—from converting the file format with CloudConvert to storing it in Google Drive—helping streamline file management.

■Flowbot steps
  1. First, connect Discord, CloudConvert, and Google Drive to Yoom.
  2. Select Discord as the trigger and set the action to “When a message is sent in a channel.”
  3. Set up a branching condition so that subsequent steps run only when the message includes an attached file.
  4. Next, download the file from Discord and, if needed, use the data transformation feature “Replace data using regular expressions” to format the file name.
  5. Configure CloudConvert actions in sequence to upload the file, convert it to the specified format, and download it again.
  6. Finally, set up the Google Drive “Upload a file” action to save the converted file in the specified folder.
※ “Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that performs a process within the flow after the trigger starts.

■Customization options
  • In the Discord trigger settings, specify the server ID and channel ID where you want the Flowbot to run.
  • With the branching feature, freely customize the conditions for running subsequent steps based on information retrieved in previous steps, such as the file type or message content.
  • For data replacement using regular expressions, you can specify the target strings and conditions as needed, such as changing file names according to specific rules.
  • In the CloudConvert action settings, specify the desired output file format (extension).
  • For the action that uploads a file to Google Drive, set the destination folder ID and file name using fixed values or information retrieved in a previous step.

 ■Notes
  • Connect CloudConvert, Discord, and Google Drive to Yoom.
  • Branching is an operation available on the Personal plan and above. On the Free plan, Flowbot operations that include branching will result in an error.
  • Paid plans, such as the Personal plan, include a 2-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are otherwise restricted. For details, see the pricing plans page.
  • Operations that control a browser are available only on the Success plan. On the Free, Personal, Mini, and Team plans, Flowbot operations that include browser control will result in an error.
  • Paid plans, such as the Success plan, include a 2-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use restricted apps and operations that control a browser. For details, see the pricing plans page.
  • For instructions on configuring operations that control a browser, see How to configure “Control a browser”.
  • Customize operations that control a browser to match the website you use.
  • You can select a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes. Note that the shortest available interval depends on your plan.
  • Due to system specifications, the names of files posted to Discord may not be reflected. If this happens, refer to How to add “Values to retrieve” and retrieve the “title” value.
  • Flowbots with more than five operations can be created on the Personal plan and above. On the Free plan, the Flowbot will not run.
