Convert JPG files in Box to PDF with CloudConvert

With this workflow, simply upload a JPG file to Box, your online storage service, and CloudConvert will automatically convert it to a PDF and save it in the specified folder. ■Workflow steps

1. First, connect Box and CloudConvert to Yoom.
2. Next, select Box as the trigger and configure the workflow to start when a file is uploaded to a folder.
3. Set up a branch in the operation so that the workflow proceeds only when the uploaded file is in JPG format.
4. When the file is a JPG, download it from Box and use the regular expression feature in the data transformation operation to replace the file name for PDF conversion.
5. Upload the file to CloudConvert, convert it to PDF, and download the converted file.
6. Finally, upload the downloaded PDF file to the specified folder in Box.

※“Trigger”: An action that starts the workflow. “Operation”: An action that runs within the workflow after the trigger starts.

■Customization options

• In the Box trigger settings, specify the folder that should trigger the workflow.
• With the branching feature, you can freely customize the conditions for triggering subsequent operations, such as proceeding only when the file name contains a specific string.
• In the regular expression settings of the data transformation feature, you can define custom replacement rules for the converted file name, such as the original file name_pdf.
• You can also specify the Box folder where the final PDF file will be uploaded.

• Connect both Box and CloudConvert to Yoom.
• The maximum downloadable file size is 300 MB. Depending on the app specifications, the limit may be lower than 300 MB.

• Branching is an operation available on the Mini plan and above. On the Free plan, operations configured in the workflow will result in an error.
• Paid plans, such as the Mini plan, include a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are otherwise subject to plan restrictions.
• Workflows with more than five operations can be configured on the Mini plan and above. On the Free plan, the workflow will not start.
• You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
• The shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
