Create a Thing in Bubble when a file is uploaded to Box

Create a Thing in Bubble when a file is uploaded to Box

Launch this workflow to connect Box & Bubble !

■Overview

Are you manually registering information about files uploaded to the cloud storage service Box in the database of an application built with the no-code tool Bubble? As the number of files increases, this process becomes more time-consuming and can lead to human errors such as data entry mistakes. With this workflow, when a file is uploaded to a specific Box folder, AI extracts text data from the file and automatically creates a Thing in Bubble, streamlining data registration between Box and Bubble.

■Recommended for

  • Those who have connected Box and Bubble and want to automate their daily data registration tasks
  • Those who manage customers in Bubble based on information from files such as application forms stored in Box
  • Those who want to eliminate issues such as data entry mistakes and missed follow-ups caused by manual data transfer

■Benefits of using this template

  • Because a Thing is automatically created in Bubble when a file is uploaded to Box, you can spend the time previously used for manual work on other core tasks
  • Eliminating manual data transfer helps prevent human errors such as data entry mistakes and missed registrations, helping maintain data accuracy

■Flow

  1. First, connect Box and Bubble to Yoom
  2. Next, select Box as the trigger, set the “When a file is uploaded to a folder” action, and specify the target folder
  3. Then, set the AI feature’s “Extract data from text” action as an operation and configure it to extract the required information from the uploaded file
  4. Finally, set Bubble’s “Create a Thing” action as an operation and configure it to create a Thing based on the extracted data

※ “Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the flow after the trigger starts.

■Customization options

  • For the operation that creates a Thing in Bubble, you can freely choose which data to register in which fields. Use the information extracted from the file by the AI feature as variables and map it to the corresponding data fields in Bubble. You can also enter fixed values for specific fields

■Notes

  • Connect both Box and Bubble to Yoom.
  • You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
  • Please note that the shortest trigger interval varies depending on your plan.
