■Overview
Do you still manually transfer data managed in Airtable to Google Sheets for analysis or sharing? This task is not only time-consuming but can also lead to human errors such as data entry mistakes. With this workflow, adding a record to Airtable automatically updates the specified Google Sheet, making it easy to connect Airtable and Google Sheets seamlessly.
■Recommended for
- Those who use Airtable and Google Sheets together and want to streamline data transfer
- Those who manually transfer data from Airtable to Google Sheets and struggle with errors
- Those who want to automate information sharing between databases and enable smoother collaboration
■Benefits of using this template
- Information is automatically added to Google Sheets after a record is added to Airtable, reducing the time required for manual data entry
- Automated processing helps prevent human errors such as copy-and-paste mistakes and missing entries, keeping your data accurate
■Flowbot steps
- First, connect Airtable and Google Sheets to Yoom
- Next, select Airtable as the trigger and set the action to “When a record is added”
- Then, configure the branching feature in an operation to control subsequent processing based on specific conditions
- Finally, set the Google Sheets “Add a record” action in an operation to update the specified sheet with the information retrieved from Airtable
※“Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the flow after the trigger starts.
■Customization options
- In the Airtable trigger settings, specify the base ID, table ID, and field name used to identify when the record was created
- With the branching feature, you can set conditions to determine whether to proceed with the subsequent Google Sheets processing based on the record information retrieved from Airtable
- When configuring the action to add a record in Google Sheets, specify the spreadsheet, sheet, and table range where you want the data to be added
■Notes
- Connect Airtable and Google Sheets to Yoom.
- You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
- Note that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
- Branching is an operation available on the Mini plan and higher. On the Free plan, operations configured in a Flowbot that uses branching will result in an error.
- Paid plans such as the Mini plan include a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are otherwise restricted.
- Airtable outputs can be retrieved using JSONPath. See below for details.
