Automatically create a task in TickTick when a new task is added to Notion

Automatically create a task in TickTick when a new task is added to Notion

Launch this workflow to connect Notion & TickTick !
■Overview
Do you manage team tasks in Notion and find it time-consuming to manually copy them to your personal TickTick account, or sometimes forget to register them? Duplicate data entry and human error can reduce operational efficiency. With this workflow, tasks are automatically added to TickTick whenever a new task is added to a Notion database, eliminating manual task management and enabling smooth, error-free synchronization.

■Recommended for
  • Anyone who uses both Notion and TickTick and wants to eliminate duplicate task entry
  • Anyone who wants to streamline task management by preventing manual transcription errors and missed registrations
  • Anyone who wants to connect team and personal task management to improve productivity

■Benefits of this template
  • When a task is added to Notion, it is automatically registered in TickTick, freeing up the time previously spent on manual transcription for other work.
  • By eliminating the need to enter information manually, this workflow prevents human errors such as missed task registrations and input mistakes, improving task management accuracy.

■Flowbot steps
  1. First, connect Notion and TickTick to Yoom.
  2. Next, select Notion as the trigger and set the action to “When a page in a specific data source is created or updated.”
  3. Next, set up the branching feature in an operation to determine whether to execute subsequent steps based on specific conditions.
  4. Next, set the Notion operation to “Retrieve a record” to obtain detailed information about the created or updated page.
  5. Next, set the AI operation to “Generate text” to format the task details based on the retrieved information.
  6. Finally, set the TickTick operation to “Create a task” and register the task using the information retrieved from Notion.
※“Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that performs processing within the flow after the trigger starts.

■Customization options
  • When creating a task in TickTick, you can insert information retrieved from Notion as variables in fields such as the task name and description.
  • You can also configure fixed values for specific fields, such as the list where tasks are registered and the priority assigned to them.

■Notes
  • Connect both Notion and TickTick to Yoom.
  • You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
  • Please note that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
  • Branching is an operation available on the Personal plan and higher. On the Free plan, Flowbot operations that include branching will result in an error.
  • Paid plans, such as the Personal plan, include a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are subject to plan restrictions.
