■Overview
Do you find it time-consuming to manually convert JPG files shared on Discord to PDF and reply with them? As conversations grow, the conversion process and file management can quickly become cumbersome. With this workflow, you can use a specific Discord message as a trigger, convert the attached JPG to PDF, and automatically reply with the converted file. Eliminate manual conversion tasks and keep communication moving smoothly.
■Recommended for
- Anyone who frequently receives JPG images on Discord and manually converts them to PDF
- Anyone who wants to automate the routine task of converting JPG files to PDF and replying, so they can focus on more important work
- Anyone who manages submissions from community members or others in a specified format
■Benefits of using this template
- Automate the entire process—from posting on Discord to converting the JPG to PDF and replying—so you can reduce the time spent on manual work
- Eliminate manual file conversion and reply tasks to help prevent human errors such as selecting the wrong file or sending it to the wrong place
■Workflow
- First, connect Discord to Yoom
- Next, select Discord as the trigger and set it to “When a message is sent in a channel”
- Use the branching feature to set conditions so the workflow runs only for messages containing specific keywords
- Next, use Discord’s “Download files in a message” action to retrieve the attached JPG file
- Use the RPA feature (“Operate browser”) to operate any online conversion tool and convert the downloaded JPG to PDF
- Use the data transformation action to rename the converted file with a clear, easy-to-understand name
- Finally, use Discord’s “Send file” action to reply with the generated PDF file in the specified channel
※“Trigger”: An action that starts the workflow. “Operation”: An action that performs a process within the workflow after the trigger starts.
■Customization options
- In the Discord trigger settings, you can specify which channel should start the workflow
- With the branching feature, you can freely set conditions for running the workflow, such as a specific keyword like “convert this”
- With the RPA feature (“Operate browser”), you can specify the URL of your preferred online conversion tool and customize the settings to match the actual steps you follow
- Use the data transformation feature to freely rename the converted file, such as “(original file name)_conversion complete.pdf”
- When sending the converted PDF to Discord, you can specify the reply channel and insert the original post content into the message as a variable
