■Flow bot process
- First, connect Discord and Google Chat to Yoom
- Next, select Discord as the trigger, set the “When a message is sent in a channel” action, and specify the channel to monitor
- Then, select the AI feature in Operations, set the “Summarize” action, and summarize the Discord post retrieved by the trigger
- Finally, set the Google Chat “Send a message” action in Operations and send the summary to the designated space
※ “Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the flow after the trigger starts.
■Customization options
- In the AI “Summarize” operation, you can customize the text to be summarized. For example, you can summarize not only the body of the Discord post but also combine it with information such as the poster’s name
- In the Google Chat notification operation, you can specify the space where notifications are sent. You can also customize the message flexibly by embedding the AI-generated summary as a variable or adding fixed text
■Notes
- Connect both Google Chat and Discord to Yoom.
- You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes. Please note that the shortest available interval varies by plan.
- Google Chat can only be connected when using Google Workspace. For details, see How to send a message to a space in Google Chat.
- The summarization feature is available on the Mini plan and above. On the Free and Personal plans, operations and Data Connect configured in the flow bot will result in errors. Please take note of this.
- Paid plans, including the Personal, Mini, Team, and Success plans, come with a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps that are otherwise subject to plan restrictions.
