■Overview
Do you find it time-consuming to open Google Meet for a related meeting after creating a task in ClickUp, manually generate a meeting URL, and add it to the task?
This series of tasks can also lead to human errors, such as copy-and-paste mistakes or forgetting to generate the URL.
With this workflow, whenever a task is created in ClickUp, a Google Meet meeting space is automatically created and its URL is added to the task, eliminating the hassle of coordinating these steps.
■Who Should Use This Template
- Teams that frequently manage tasks in ClickUp and schedule meetings in Google Meet
- Teams that find it time-consuming to generate and add meeting URLs related to tasks
- Teams that want to connect ClickUp and Google Meet to streamline project execution
■Benefits of This Template
- Because a Google Meet meeting URL is automatically added when a task is created in ClickUp, you can reduce the time previously spent on manual work.
- Eliminating the need to manually generate and add URLs helps prevent human errors, such as pasting the wrong meeting URL or forgetting to configure one.
■Flowbot Steps
- First, connect ClickUp and Google Meet to Yoom.
- Next, select ClickUp as the trigger and set the action to “When a task is created.”
- Next, set the ClickUp “Get a task” action as an operation to retrieve detailed information about the task that triggered the flow.
- Next, set the Google Meet “Create a meeting space” action as an operation.
- Finally, set the ClickUp “Update a task” action as an operation to add the generated meeting URL to the relevant task.
※“Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the flow after the trigger starts.
■Customization Options
- In the ClickUp trigger settings, specify the team ID, space ID, folder ID, and list ID that you want to include in the automation.
- For ClickUp operations such as “Get a task” and “Update a task,” set the task ID using the information retrieved in the previous step of the flow as a variable.
- In the ClickUp “Update a task” operation, you can set information retrieved in the previous step of the flow, such as the meeting URL created in Google Meet, in any field of the task.
■Notes
- Connect both ClickUp and Google Meet to Yoom.
