■Overview
Managing a large number of events in Google Calendar manually can be time-consuming and prone to errors. This workflow compares your events against a list in Google Sheets and automatically deletes only the events that meet the specified conditions in bulk. Reduce manual effort and mistakes while streamlining Google Calendar management.
■Recommended for
- Anyone who regularly organizes Google Calendar events and finds bulk deletion time-consuming
- Anyone who wants to delete specific calendar events based on a list managed in Google Sheets
- Anyone who wants to prevent deletion errors caused by manual calendar operations and improve operational accuracy
■Benefits of this template
- Automatically delete events based on a list in Google Sheets, reducing the time spent manually deleting events in bulk from Google Calendar.
- Because the system processes events accurately based on the specified conditions, it helps prevent human errors such as missed or accidental deletions.
■How the Flowbot works
- First, connect Google Sheets and Google Calendar to Yoom.
- This workflow is started manually, so no trigger settings are required.
- In Operations, configure Google Calendar's "Get a list of events" action to retrieve the target event information.
- Next, retrieve records from Google Sheets in "Repeat the process" and compare them with the calendar events.
- If the conditions are met in the "Branch" operation, execute Google Calendar's "Delete an event" action.
- Finally, use Google Sheets' "Update a record" action to record that the event has been deleted.
※ "Trigger": An action that starts the flow. "Operation": An action that processes data within the flow after the trigger starts.
■Customization options
- In Google Calendar's "Get a list of events" action, set the calendar ID of the calendar from which you want to retrieve events.
- For each Google Sheets action, set the spreadsheet ID containing the list of events to delete and the name of the target sheet (tab).
■Notes
- Connect both Google Calendar and Google Sheets to Yoom.
- The "Branch" and "Repeat the same process" features are available on the Personal plan and above. On the Free plan, operations and Data Connects configured in your Flowbot will result in errors.
- Paid plans, including the Personal plan, offer a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are subject to plan restrictions. For details, see the Pricing Plans page.
