■Overview
Are you spending too much time manually uploading files collected via Google Forms to Amazon S3? As the number of files grows, the work becomes more tedious and prone to human errors like missed uploads or incorrect destinations. This workflow lets you automatically store files in a specified Amazon S3 bucket whenever a response with file attachments is submitted to Google Forms—streamlining your file management.
■Recommended for
- Anyone manually uploading files received via Google Forms to Amazon S3
- Teams handling a high volume of file submissions and finding Google Forms–based file management cumbersome
- Anyone looking to automate backups and file management to Amazon S3
■Benefits
- Use file submissions to Google Forms as a trigger to automatically upload to Amazon S3, reducing manual work.
- Because files are stored without manual handling, you can prevent human errors such as missed uploads or incorrect destinations.
■Workflow steps
- 1.First, connect Google Forms, Google Drive, and Amazon S3 to Yoom.
- 2.Next, choose Google Forms for the trigger and set the "When a form response is submitted" event.
- 3.Next, add an operation with Google Drive’s "Download file" action to fetch the file attached to the form.
- 4.Finally, add an operation with Amazon S3’s "Upload object" action to store the downloaded file in the specified bucket.
※「Trigger」:the action that initiates the flow、「Operation」:an action that runs within the flow after the trigger fires
