Manually transferring information posted to Microsoft Teams channels into Microsoft Excel each time is not only time-consuming but also prone to input errors. When full-width and half-width Katakana are mixed, additional work is required to clean up the data. With this workflow, whenever a specific message is posted to Microsoft Teams, full-width Katakana in the message is automatically converted to half-width and recorded in the specified row in Microsoft Excel.

- First, connect Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Excel to Yoom.
- Next, select Microsoft Teams as the trigger and set the action to “When a message containing the specified text is posted to a channel.”
- Then, select Yoom’s “Data Operations & Conversion” feature as the operation and configure it to convert full-width Katakana in the posted message to half-width.
- Finally, set Microsoft Excel’s “Update records” action as the operation and add the converted data to the specified file or sheet.
※“Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data in the flow after the trigger starts.

- With the “Data Operations & Conversion” feature, you can configure flexible data processing and conversion to fit your business needs, including replacing or deleting specific text strings in addition to converting full-width Katakana to half-width.
