When an audio file is sent from Discord, use RPA to convert it to MP3 and store it in Box

■Overview
Manually converting and managing audio files shared on Discord as MP3 files can be time-consuming. With this workflow, whenever an audio file is sent to Discord, the RPA feature automatically converts it into an MP3 file and stores it in a designated Box folder. Automate the entire process—from converting audio files to storing them—instead of handling it manually, and improve operational efficiency.
■Who Should Use This Template
- Team leaders who find it time-consuming to manage audio files shared on Discord
- Anyone struggling with manually converting audio files to MP3
- Anyone looking to automate the file storage process in Box and eliminate reliance on individual team members
■Benefits of Using This Template
- Automate the entire process from downloading audio files and converting them to MP3 to storing them in Box, reducing the time spent on manual tasks
- Prevent human errors such as file conversion mistakes and missed uploads, and maintain consistent quality in file management operations
■Flow Bot Workflow
- First, connect Discord and Box to Yoom
- Next, select Discord as the trigger and set the “When a message is sent in a channel” action
- Next, set up the branching feature in Operations so that subsequent steps run only when the message includes an audio file
- Next, configure Discord’s “Download files in a message” action in Operations
- Next, configure the RPA feature’s “Operate the browser” action in Operations to interact with a website that converts audio files to MP3
- Next, configure the data extraction feature’s “Extract data using regular expressions” action to retrieve information about the converted file
- Finally, configure Box’s “Upload a file” action in Operations to store the converted and extracted MP3 file
※“Trigger”: An action that starts a flow. “Operation”: An action that performs processing within a flow after the trigger starts.
■Customizing This Workflow
- In the Discord trigger settings, specify the server ID and channel ID where you want to monitor messages
- With the branching feature, freely customize the conditions for running subsequent operations based on the message information retrieved by the trigger
- With the RPA feature, you can specify the URL of the web page to operate for audio file conversion, the actions to perform, the text to retrieve, and more
- For regular expression data extraction, flexibly specify what information to extract and from where, then use it for subsequent steps such as setting the file name
- When uploading files to Box, specify the file name, destination folder, and other details using fixed values or information retrieved by previous operations
■Notes
- Connect both Discord and Box to Yoom.
- The browser operation feature is available only on the Success Plan. If you are on the Free, Mini, or Team Plan, the configured operation in the Flow Bot will result in an error.
