With this workflow, you can fully automate the entire process—from running Google searches with SerpApi based on a keyword list in Google Sheets, to analyzing the results with OpenAI, and writing the results back to Google Sheets—making your daily information-gathering tasks more efficient.

- First, connect Google Sheets, OpenAI, and SerpApi to Yoom.
- Next, select the Schedule Trigger and set when you want the flow to run, such as a specific time every day.
- Next, configure the Google Sheets “Get multiple records” action to retrieve information from the sheet containing your keywords.
- To process each keyword retrieved, configure the “Repeat the same process” action.
- Within the repeated process, configure SerpApi’s “Get Google search results” action to run a search based on each keyword.
- Then, configure OpenAI’s “Generate text” action to analyze and summarize the search results retrieved by SerpApi.
- Finally, use Google Sheets’ “Update record” action to write OpenAI’s analysis results back to the original sheet.

- With the Schedule Trigger, set when you want this workflow to run, such as daily, weekly, or at a specific date and time.
- For the Google Sheets record retrieval action, you can specify the spreadsheet and sheet where your keyword list is stored.
- For the repeat process, set the list of keywords retrieved from Google Sheets in the previous step as the items to repeat.
- For the SerpApi action, set the keyword variable extracted during the repeat process as the search query.
- For the OpenAI action, freely customize the prompt to match your goal, such as “Summarize the trends of the top three sites from the search results.” You can also use the information retrieved by SerpApi as variables.
- For the final Google Sheets action, specify the spreadsheet, sheet, and cell (column) where you want to write the analysis results.
■Notes
- Connect Google Sheets, OpenAI, and SerpApi to Yoom.
- Actions between “Repeat the same process” operations are available on the Personal plan and above. On the Free plan, operations and data connects configured in the Flowbot may result in errors.
- Paid plans, including the Personal plan, come with a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are otherwise subject to plan restrictions.
- Combining multiple keywords in your search can help you retrieve relatively accurate information.
- To run ChatGPT (OpenAI) actions, you need to subscribe to OpenAI’s paid API plan. (You must be able to make payments when the API is used.)
- OpenAI charges for ChatGPT API usage based on the number of tokens used when communicating with the API. If payment cannot be made when the API is used, an error will occur.
