Add specific Notion Calendar events to Google Calendar automatically

!
■Overview
If you manage tasks and projects in Notion and team or personal schedules in Google Calendar, you may find yourself manually entering the same events in both tools. This workflow connects Notion and Google Calendar so that when a page is created or updated in a specific database, an event is automatically added to Google Calendar. It eliminates duplicate work, helps prevent input errors, and enables smoother schedule management.
■Who This Template Is For
- Anyone who uses both Notion and Google Calendar and wants to avoid entering the same events twice
- Anyone who wants to keep track of deadlines and other task details managed in Notion directly in Google Calendar
- Anyone who wants to prevent missed entries and date or time errors when adding events to their calendar manually
■Benefits of Using This Template
- Automatically create Google Calendar events when information is added to Notion, reducing the time spent manually copying data between tools.
- Eliminate manual data transfers to prevent human errors such as incorrect entries and missed registrations, enabling more accurate schedule management.
■Flowbot Steps
- First, connect Notion and Google Calendar to Yoom.
- Next, select Notion as the trigger, set the action to “When a page in a specific data source is created or updated,” and specify the target database.
- Then, configure the branching feature in an operation and define the conditions under which the flow should continue.
- Next, configure Notion’s “Retrieve a record” action in an operation to retrieve detailed information about the page detected by the trigger.
- Then, configure the branching feature again in an operation to route the process based on the retrieved record information.
- Finally, configure Google Calendar’s “Create an event” action in an operation to create an event using the information retrieved from Notion.
※ “Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that performs processing within the flow after the trigger is activated.
■Customization Options
- When configuring branching, you can set custom conditions, such as continuing to the next step only when a specific Notion property, such as status, matches a particular value.
- When creating an event in Google Calendar, you can insert values retrieved in previous operations into fields such as the title, description, and date and time, or add fixed text.
■Notes
- Connect both Notion and Google Calendar to Yoom.
- You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes. Please note that the shortest available interval varies by plan.
- Branching is an operation available on the Personal plan and higher. On the Free plan, operations configured in flowbots that use branching will result in an error.
- Paid plans, including the Personal plan, come with a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are otherwise subject to plan restrictions. For details, see the pricing plans page.
