When a row is added to Notion, summarize the description with ChatGPT and create a product in Stripe

When a row is added to Notion, summarize the description with ChatGPT and create a product in Stripe

Launch this workflow to connect ChatGPT & Stripe !
■Overview
Are you tired of manually entering product information managed in Notion into Stripe every time? Coming up with compelling product descriptions can also be a burden on your team. This workflow solves these challenges by connecting Notion, Stripe, and ChatGPT. Simply add product information to Notion, and ChatGPT will automatically generate a description and register the product in Stripe, automating the entire process and streamlining your operations.
■Who should use this template
  • EC site managers who manually register information managed in Notion with Stripe
  • Those who want to streamline the creation of product descriptions for Stripe using ChatGPT
  • Those considering automating the entire workflow, from registering product information to configuring payment details
■Benefits of using this template
  • Adding information to Notion automatically triggers everything from text generation with ChatGPT to product registration in Stripe, reducing the time spent on manual work.
  • Eliminating manual data entry helps prevent human errors such as input mistakes and missed registrations, ensuring consistent and accurate data.
■Flow bot steps
  1. First, connect Notion, ChatGPT, and Stripe to Yoom.
  2. Next, select Notion as the trigger and configure the action “When a page in a specific data source is created or updated.”
  3. Then, configure the branching feature to split subsequent processes based on the information retrieved from Notion.
  4. Next, configure Notion’s “Retrieve a record (ID search)” action.
  5. Then, use ChatGPT’s “Generate text” action to automatically create a product description based on the information retrieved from Notion.
  6. Next, use Stripe’s “Create a product” action to register the product using the generated text and other information.
  7. Finally, use Stripe’s “Add price information to a product” action to set pricing details for the product you created.
※ “Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the flow after the trigger starts.
■Customization options for this workflow
  • In the Notion trigger settings, set the ID of the data source you want to connect.
  • With the branching feature, you can freely customize conditions based on the status of a page retrieved from Notion, such as “Run subsequent processes when the draft is complete.”
  • In Notion’s record retrieval action, you can specify a fixed ID to search for or set information retrieved by the preceding trigger as a variable.
  • You can freely edit the prompt sent to ChatGPT. By incorporating the product name, features, and other information retrieved from Notion as variables, you can generate more accurate product descriptions.
  • When creating products or adding prices in Stripe, you can set the product name, description, price, currency, and other details as fixed values or variables containing information retrieved by preceding operations.
■Notes
  • Connect each of Notion, ChatGPT, and Stripe to Yoom.
  • You can select a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
  • Note that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
  • Branching is an available feature (operation) on the Mini plan and above. On the Free plan, operations configured in the flow bot will result in errors.
  • Paid plans, including the Mini plan, offer a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use restricted apps and features (operations).
  • To run ChatGPT (OpenAI) actions, you need an OpenAI paid API plan. (You must be able to make payments when the API is used.)
  • OpenAI provides the ChatGPT API as a paid service, and charges are based on the number of tokens used when communicating with the API. Therefore, an error will occur if you are unable to make payments when using the API.
  • Stripe is available only on the Team and Success plans. On the Free and Mini plans, operations and Data Connects configured in the flow bot will result in errors.
  • Paid plans, including the Team and Success plans, offer a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use restricted apps.
