Create a task in Outlook when a page is created in Confluence

Whenever a new page is created in Confluence, it automatically creates a task in Outlook based on the page content, improving task management efficiency and reducing the risk of missed follow-ups.

■Workflow

1. First, connect Confluence and Outlook to Yoom.
2. Next, select Confluence as the trigger and set the action to “When a page is created.”
3. Then, configure the Confluence “Get a page” action as an operation to retrieve detailed information about the newly created page.
4. Next, use the text extraction feature in an operation to extract the information needed for the task from the retrieved page content.
5. Finally, configure Outlook’s “Create a task” action as an operation to create a task based on the extracted information.

■Customizing This Workflow

• In the Confluence trigger settings, specify the Confluence cloud ID you want to connect.
• When configuring task creation in Outlook, you can specify the user ID and task list ID where you want to create the task.
