Summarize pages created in Confluence and add them to Notion

Summarize pages created in Confluence and add them to Notion

Launch this workflow to connect Confluence & Notion !

■Overview

Do you find it time-consuming to manually transfer and share meeting notes and materials created in Confluence to Notion? Entering the same information twice is not only inefficient but can also lead to input errors and missed updates. This workflow solves these challenges by connecting Confluence and Notion. Whenever a new page is created in Confluence, AI automatically summarizes its contents and adds the summary to a Notion database, streamlining the information-sharing process.

■Recommended for

  • Teams that use both Confluence and Notion and want to streamline information sharing between the two tools
  • Teams that want to share and report on Confluence pages more smoothly
  • Managers who want to eliminate manual data transfers and improve productivity across their teams

■Benefits of this template

  • Simply create a page in Confluence, and everything from AI-powered summarization to adding the content to Notion runs automatically, reducing the time spent on manual transfers and summary creation.
  • By eliminating manual copy-and-paste tasks, this workflow helps prevent human errors such as transfer mistakes and missed updates while maintaining information accuracy.

■Workflow steps

  1. First, connect Confluence and Notion to Yoom.
  2. Next, select Confluence as the trigger and set the action to “When a page is created.”
  3. Then, configure the Confluence “Get a page” action as an operation to retrieve the details of the newly created page.
  4. Next, configure the AI feature’s “Summarize” action as an operation to summarize the retrieved page content.
  5. Finally, configure Notion’s “Add a record” action as an operation to add the summarized text and other details to the specified database.

※ “Trigger”: An action that starts the workflow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the workflow after the trigger starts.

■Customization options

  • When using the AI feature to create a summary, you can customize settings such as the length and format of the generated text.
  • When adding a record to Notion, you can specify any target database ID. You can also freely add fixed text or information retrieved by previous operations as variables to each database property.

■Notes

  • Connect both Confluence and Notion to Yoom.
  • You can select a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
  • Please note that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
