■Overview
When managing documents across Confluence and Notion, do you find manual data entry and missed updates becoming a challenge? For example, sharing meeting notes created in Confluence with Notion, where you manage tasks, often leads to duplicate data entry. This workflow smoothly solves these information-sharing challenges by automatically adding information to a Notion database whenever a Confluence page matching specific conditions is created.
■Who This Template Is For
- Anyone who manages information created in Confluence in Notion as well and wants to eliminate manual data entry
- Teams that want to automate information sharing between Confluence and Notion and keep everyone up to date in real time
- Anyone looking to streamline their document management process and prevent input errors or missed updates
■Benefits of This Template
- Automatically sync information to Notion when a page is created in Confluence, reducing the time spent on manual data entry.
- Eliminate copy-and-paste tasks to help prevent human errors such as data entry mistakes and missed updates.
■Workflow Overview
- First, connect Confluence and Notion to Yoom.
- Next, select Confluence as the trigger and set the action to “When a page is created.”
- Then, set the Confluence “Get a page” action as an operation to retrieve detailed information about the page created by the trigger.
- Next, use the “Branching” feature to configure the workflow so that subsequent actions run only when the retrieved page information matches specific conditions.
- Finally, set the Notion “Add a record” action as an operation to add the Confluence page information to the specified database.
※“Trigger”: An action that starts the workflow. “Operation”: An action that processes information within the workflow after the trigger starts.
■Customization Options
- Set your preferred conditions for the Confluence pages you want to add to Notion using the branching feature. For example, you can configure the workflow to sync pages only when their title or labels contain specific text.
- For the Notion “Add a record” action, you can specify any destination database ID. You can also freely choose which information to add to each field and insert values such as the page title or URL retrieved from Confluence as variables.
■Notes
- Connect both Confluence and Notion to Yoom.
- You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
- The shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
- Branching is an operation available on the Mini plan and above. On the Free plan, operations configured in the workflow will result in an error.
- Paid plans, including the Mini plan, offer a 2-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are otherwise subject to plan restrictions.
